IM against it, but i dont think it should be banned. I think if you cherish freedom of speech you have to allow it in all forms. I think burning the flag is a ****ty way of getting your point across, if people hate the way an administration is handling something burn pics of them, not the flag. I just feel that if they bann flag burning whats next.

If you feel the need to burn the AMERICAN FLAG, of the country you live, then you should feel the need to pack up your trailer home, and get the hell out.

We don't need that kind of crap. Have issues with the "higher ups", then take it to that level. Burning flags and protesting does nothing. Take it to the legal system and directly to them.

HA HA Thanks! I am fully against burning the flag, i think it is a total insult to anyone who has given their life in defense of it and our great nation. I just dont really like the constitution being messed with. The flag is the visual representation of our country but the constitution says who and what that flag stands for. We are the land of the free and even though i may not agree with it, it should not become illegal. Think about the only countries that have banned it, Iran, Iraq (under saddam) and some other oppressive nations. Do we really want to associate ourselves with those nations and their oppresive views.

If America is so free and free speech is allowed then that should be allowed.

Against, period.

Seeing how I am in the military we learn to pretty much cherish it. God forbid we let it even slightly touch the ground.

I am against it considering that is very disrespectful and I would be pissed if I saw someone do that.

I think that we should be allowed to cause bodily harm to those who burn it, but its their choice to do it!

Well seeings how I am an Eagle Scout, burning a flag is a way to destroy an old tattered one, and is the ONLY I say again ONLY proper way of disposal. But burning a flag out of anger is wrong.

Yes, but no Eagle Scout will ever be seen dousing the flag in Gasoline, lighting it on fire, and then waving it around in a crowd of angry protesters!

like others said.. im against burning it but it shouldnt be illegal. and indeed burning is the proper way to dispose of an old flag. you wouldnt want the flag sitting in a trash can waiting to go to a landfill.

If a protestor sets the flag on fire out of anger......then technically I can set the protestor on fire out of anger, right??

Totally against flag burning here.

Against....I think those that burn the flag have no respect for what it stands for, and probably should consider getting the f***k out, but since this is America, and we need to cherish all of our freedoms, it shouldn't be banned.
