i could definitely do something like that for you. Judging off a quick search on ace stainless for the butt-weld fittings and random google searches for flanges, material would be somewhere around 175$ plus shipping and id charge you like no more than 150$ to cover my time/welding/ cutting consumables. id guess your total is somewhere around 350$ a little more if you wanted to add an external waste gate. I wasn't able to find a job for winter break, so i have 3 weeks of free time. I would be more then happy to spend a few days doing some fab work, i've missed it lately since i left Fabspeed for school. Just let me know

Dude. Let's do it. I'm at work now, but will shoot you a PM when I get home. You thinking sch10? And it would definitely have to be externally gated. If you wanted, you could build the dump tube too. I'm going to see if I can buy a downpipe at least. So I'd have to get you the car, the turbo, and the WG? 38mm should be plenty since it's so easy to control boost with a log mani and I'm not going for crazy power.

I've been working on project 'secret sauce' and accidentally sold it today. Was an '86 eS with an LSD and all the goodies, fresh top end, pretty decent suspension. Needed a more complete flat black spray bomb and an i head, would've been a sick car.

Another e28? Hell yeah! I say we find an e28 m5 that needs an s38 and let the purists know what's good with the LSX.

Finally had some bimmer time today to do a couple small projects I've been wanting to get done for a while!

I have a water problem, and it was quite clear that these bad boys were shot.

All better!

A new antenna grommet was also in order.

Hood shock has been blown out forever. Finally put the new one on.

Oh, and a sweet fuse box reference sticker!

This really pissed me off. 0 rust when I first got the car, and since it's been in PA, there's already rust forming. Thankfully it's not inside the battery box, it's on the outer valance side. My guess is that it holds water in between there. Literally the only spot on the entire car, so I can't complain too much.

I just read the whole thread because you know... There was nothing else to read. Lol. Despite there being a little too much Euro for my taste in this thread, it looks like a sweet project.
