Tire Grooving?
 This shop in California made their own grooves to make them a bit more street friendly.  I don't know what the costs would be, but does anyone know of shops that could provide a service like this, and possibly recommend tread patterns for different uses?

Make your own template and buy a tire groover. You can even write your name in them.

... lol. People do it all the time.
Just like shaving a brand new tire down so the tread doesnt flex/roll over as much. |
