How does one get a completely custom set of wheels built that don't even come close to fitting?

Wish i had and answer.

Even at -3 degrees of camber the rear fenders still sat on the tires. The 8" front wheel even with a measly 215 on it still hit the front bumper and poked out a solid inch or so. The whole car looked like a tractor. Offsets were beyond wrong. The wheels barely fit under a 993tt even at only 18x8 and 18x10.

send me PM, I may have a set of bbs wheels for you that would fit. They are at chromers now, and lips are in my house. Not sure if I am going to end up using them.

bit the bullet. ordered a set of e88 through dave at fabspeed today. couldnt decide on gold or silver so whatever shows up is whats going on the car. if silver, odds are i will redo them over the winter. gold, ill probably just leave alone. too classic to mess with.

stereo should be done tomorrow. few pics of the progress. also had the last few interior parts installed that i just never got around to doing... dead pedal, passenger floor board and a fire extinguisher mount under the passenger seat.
a shame to cut into the leather rs door cards, but no speaker was really shallow enough to be worth while. its not too offensive.. ill learn to live with it haha

amp under the passenger seat. stock location. will have bluetooth connection with a USB port for charging, and anyone else's phone that isnt hooked up via bluetooth. im counting on my phone to be my source, so heres hoping my internet is up to the task.

well i gotta take a moment and thank luxury details in framingham MA for the work on my car. they even mounted my fire extinguisher bracket under my passenger seat since they had the seat out of the car. my iphone as a headunit is working out just as i had invisioned. plus the dash looks sick with basically everything but the climate controls deleted.

very happy with the final product. sounds better than i had anticipated which is nice.

few interior finished pics.

more or less have the entire rennline interior catalogue. not something i would normally do, but their parts just look so damn good in the car

drilled pedals
dead pedal
driver and passenger side floor boards
driver and passenger side track mats
fire extinguisher mount
radio delete plate
airbag delete plate
Lower dash/ glove box delete

Your build is coming along so nice. I'm honestly jealous. The cleanliness of the interior is on point.

Car gods decided today was going too well.

Long story short the key was stuck in the ignition while running. Couldn't shut it off. Pulled the battery. Car towed to the shop to be checked out tomorrow. I think my fancy or le man style key is the culprit and not the ignition itself. Here's hoping I don't need a new ignition ect.

This thread makes me never want to buy a Porsche on a budget, but damn that's a sweet car.

I think the reason you had such a miserable time is because you neglected to urinate on yourself. I believe another contributing factor is your diet. You mentioned nothing about eating raw snakes... not even one "moral booster" snack of a handful of maggots. The first sign that things weren't right was the minute you decided to build an igloo instead of climbing inside an animal carcass. I think you failed because you lack dedication.

what a day. long story short, i spent three hours sanding down the beads of the tires because they wouldnt hold air. but the wheels are on and look tits. big thanks to dave and fabspeed for getting these for me so quickly and for a solid deal. bbs e88 straight from germany. cant think of a more perfect wheel for a 964. and they made it happen essentially overnight

rear fitment is perfect. front needs to drop a little bit more but i was tired from sanding. my fingers are so raw my iphone wont recognize my thumb print to unlock.

Car is worth it.

So when the wheels went on the gas tank was empty, light on ect. Filled it up today... 17 gallons lowered it enough to look perfect hah. Might need a small spacer in the front
