A few Mazdas

I've been doing work on all 3 of my mazdas. The turbo mx6 finally runs. Just need to get her driving. The 929 has been my daily for a few weeks now. She's okay for a while but I am going to change the trans fluid soon. My mazda3 has been sitting in my driveway until I have time to take apart the front suspension and lower it more. I have parts for all 3 cars laying around and I need to get my ass in gear and get everything finished.

Any work done to the 929? A buddy of mine (jasterm5 on here) has a VIP'd out 929, waiting to go on air.

Pretty sure I have seen pictures of his around the net. Black with a body kit and some wide wheels? He's had it a while right? I think I saw a picture of it parked behind the bleachers at Etown.

Mine has really been a labor of love to get her back into running order. I did cut the springs to give her some drop. Not ideal but the whole suspension is toast anyway. You can literally drop the strut piston inside the strut when they are off the car. I also got her a dedicated set of wheels since I needed tires for it anyway. They are 19x10 +45 with 235/35/19 ss595 tires on them and don't rub at all on factory fenders. I absolutely see 11s or 12s in her future.

I am currently waiting on some coilover strut bottoms to arrive from BC racing. I am going to modify FD rx7 strut bottoms to fit my 929. You need to swap the front and rear ones and do a little drilling. Then I will figure out what length strut body I need because if I get the FD ones the car will lay frame at full height. After she is on coilovers I will drive her a bit and I plan to swap the springs out for air bags from universal air or another company down the road. She'll get somewhat vip treatment eventually but for now I am just happy it runs and gets 20mpg.

Well first I bought a house so my Mazda could relax in the shade....

Then I decided I didnt want her to be lonely, so I bought her a younger sister.

Grey car is mine, 87 with a Turbo'd engine, megasquirt, vmount IC, etc etc etc etc

red car is a 91 no engine or trans. originally automatic. previous owner turbo'd it and parted out the drivetrain. I picked up the shell for free basically.

Found some engines on craigslist for cheap and scooped em up. (P.S MS3 is the best daily EVER)
