Thats what I do lol and it pays fine. The good thing is there is always overtime so you pretty much write your own paychecks. Its all about how much you want to work. A lot of people use it as a stepping stone into police work.

New Castle County Community Corrections. Its a Level 4 supervised custody in the community and a facility for work release and drug programs.

No It really doesnt surprise me. With budget cuts everywhere im surprised we even have police. Im sure we wouldnt if it was up to certain types of people lol.

Ship, do you need to know anyone to get your foot in the door like in delco?

Pretty much every place in law enforcement/corrections, especially in delco, you need to know someone.

Even knowing someone is going to be hard to get you in. There are spots open in bumble**** it seems like, but again, in the middle of nowhere and pay is low.

I got it towed tonite, I think once my discount kicks in I'll be paying like $30?

Plus, i dont think an LS1 will fit into my jimmy rofl. Now to wait and see what they say is the issue. I'm 99% sure its timing/distributor related, but I'm just running out of time until school starts

Also, this sucks that I picked a field that chances are low that i'll get a job in after school. Economy sucks lately.. kinda depressing that i'm working at a parts store.. I should be making twice the money I am now based on the veterans preference alone. But it is what it is.

This is true. Ive seen first hand that if you are not some well known republican in Delco than good luck getting in the door.

The GM LS-series engine is actually pretty damn small in comparison to other V8's in the world. It's because of the OHV design rather than the DOHC or SOHC design which take up TONS of space.

Yea, but after accessories and all that I just dont think my engine bay has the length wise room to meet it. Not to mention custom mounts, custom transfer case and upgraded driveshaft. Too much $$ for that lol. AINT NOBODY GOT MONEY FO DAT!
