Low and flush Camaro...and bought a project car!

Well I've been off the forums for awhile now, and I've made a bunch of progress. Lowered the Camaro 2 inches, added some spacers up front. I kinda still wished I cut half a coil off the front, 3/4 off the rear, but I decided to go more for function than form. (before anyone freaks out, they're linear rates with a tangential end front/rear, so they can be trimmed down a bit. The look is good, a little too much stagger in the rear, but its low enough, and handles amazingly.

Oh, and I know its not super low or perfectly flush or stanced lol, just a good and clean combo of looks and handling on this platform in my opinion.

On to the pics:

After:

Oh ya, I bought a 240sx Its a 91, rust free, rolling shell, needs everything and a ton of work. It came with a bunch of extra parts, and I got it at a great price, goal is to be finished with it by the end of the summer.

Haha, might be a little false advertising for promotion :p But I think the 2 inch drop and inch spacers up front give it a good look. And it's pretty low for a Solid axle car, any lower and I'd be on the bump stops.

^^no suspension travel when on stops = no body roll = perfect handling.

Can induce understeer and make the car handle unpredictable at the limits. Especially on a solid axle car, you want suspension travel, that's why no one slams 4th gen f bodies. There's a lot more to handling than a lack of body roll. With big solid sway bars I could have zero body roll even at stock height.

On another note, I think I just sold the 240sx lol. Got offered a good price for it even though it wasn't for sale, so if it does sell on Sunday, ill be in. The market for another 240sx or possibly something else.

Cute, typically jokes are only funny the first time. As I said, kinda just an over exaggeration on the title, but those rear wheels look pretty flush to me...in fact, if you hold something flat on the fender, it hits the tire and wheel on both sides....it also looks like its lowered a nice 2 inches....not every car has to be 1/4 inch off the ground with stretched tires on it to be low.

lol looks good like he said its impossible to lower a 4th gen very much, if you have long tubes they may scrape at stock ride height. the same could be said for aftermarket catbacks (my catback needs to come up a bit and then MAYBE it can handle some sam strano suspension)

Thanks man, and ya, I need to re-do my exhaust, its a side exit atm and it's about an inch off the ground, I'm also not sure If I'm going to put my pacesetters on any more, I hear the y pipe will only be around an inch off the ground too. I didn't go with strano's, but they're awesome, so deff pick them up, I'd strongly suggest kyb agx's at least for the front, they ride amazing, only thing I wish I did was the upper ount mod, to get a bit more clearance for the front bump stops, as on really big/deep potholes, the car tends to "crash" on them
