2014 Ford Fiesta ST 197HP, 214 lb-ft torque

So it looks like it is coming to America. Prices expected at $18,000+
34mpg combined.
0-60mph in 6.9 seconds.
6 speed manual
http://www.edmunds.com/ford/fiesta/2014/road-test.html

I would love to have one of these little hot hatches one day, or a 500 Abarth, or a Mazdaspeed 2 if Mazda ever decides to release one.

Some other forums say it will sell for around $21,500.

Impressive. That will be some serious Juke competition. I doubt it will get those MPGs though. Engine bay looks like it is going to be fun to work on, as it looks like it has even less room then the Juke. Much cleaner engine bay though.

You can build on on Ford's site right now, $21,400 base over $25k fully loaded, not cheap by any means.

I don't really see how it would be Juke competition. The Juke is like 500lbs heaver and an SUV. More like Abarth/Mini Cooper/Veloster turbo competition.

The Fiesta actually fits 3 car seats in the back though. The wife looked at one as a work beater. Was really shocked how well it road and felt for the price of it. Feels much better then her xB.

It's a crossover and it's only 330 lbs heavier then the current Fiesta (my model is anyway, the AWD models are heavier then my 6MT FWD model, my Juke is 2912 Curb weight.). And it's in the same price bracket as the Juke. Same engine specs, both hatches, both come in 6MT FWD. And if it is competition for the Veloster, then it has to be competition for the Juke since the Veloster already is.

Also, the Veloster Turbo curb weight is 2800.

This makes the rear seats larger then my first gen Focus. Which is really making me consider it, as it basically took the cost point of what a Focus was. And a turbo Focus is what I wanted.......

Next to nobody is comparing a Fiesta or Veloster to a Juke no matter how many car columns your reading.

I understand 100%. I have 3 but their spread out a little. Buying 3 iPod touches at once is rough. At least if yours end up playing sport like mine they could all be on the same team.

Congrats
