I highly doubt any insurance company would be happy to let a non-employee strap cars down to someone elses dyno.

Yes the company we would work with will take care of everything on the dyno since they are the professionals and will work most efficiently on their own.

If anyone is interested in volunteering to help out with any other aspect of the meet though we are looking for reliable volunteers at the event. Please email springmeet@tristatetuners.com if you are interested in volunteering for more info. Thanks!

I think there should be a competition to see who can troll the best.

I'd be willing to sit in a booth and talk **** on people for donations.

Dynapack dynos dont require being strapped...dont really know of any in that immediate area though. 80 for 3 pulls is kind of a lot. 50-60 seems more reasonable. Unless it was a awd dyno which then id understand the added cost...even if im only rwd

People would try an aim for his face instead of the target though

A Dynapack will take twice as long to load and unload a car compared to a regular drum dyno. Due to all 4 tires coming of and on and bolting the units to each hub.

IMO it should be an AWD dyno no matter what,so they can get Subarus and Evos along with trucks or w/e else may want to get on there. You can always run a 4 wheel drive dyno in 2 wheel mode

He's not trolling, he actually has a point. They aren't going to want a random person they don't know to strap down a car. Huge liability issue, so I see what he's saying.

Hey guys I had an idea, not sure if your dead set on make a wish. My idea was how about donating money to the Wounded Warrior Foundation. I am hoping to attend this year with some big changes to my car. Hopefully the date and place work out.

I second that. Wounded warrior fund is a great charity, and several folks I served with were able to benefit from it.

Work with Philly or Central SCCA regions to organize a single event with competitive autox.

It would be a great way for people to see the sport, and for the drivers to donate a little extra for competing.
Also I would suggest possible running a silent auction?
Also the admission can get discounts with sponsors- sponsors will get exposure and follow up from the events and people can save a bit a cash when they want to do something.

autox is a fun idea but don't think the lot owner would allow it. SCCA has a tough time as it is to obtain their spots

I dont know if these guys are still around but JSCSpeed had a open house awhile back and had someine bring a mobile AWD dyno. Only thing that sucked is that they took control of your wheel and dynoed in 4th gear no matter what your ratio is.
