I don't understand why they could not have released the car for the same price with the existing 265HP engine.

With 265hp, 90% of the criticism would be gone. Then the performance would match the fun factor and eliminate the embarrassment of being smoked by every car on both the track and street.

The other issue with this car is the dealerships are being total Douchebags and attempting to gouge people with an inflated price.

Anyone who wants to buy one should wait until they have been out for a while and then buy a low mileage one used.

IMHO - Both Interiors look cheap as hell. Especially that blank spot opposite the steering wheel.

Id say for a slow car im surprised it made it onto the list, even make it to fourth place in a list of supercars. Guys really need to stop comparing this car to other cars in a straight line. We all know the car is piss poor slow in a straight line. It was never built as a drag king, it shines in autox and on the track. I feel i have more control of the FRS then my evo 8 entering and leaving corners.

Instead of being an idiot and posting this shoot out result on a SPOTED THREAD why don't you make a new thread with it.

And you always love showing us how smart you are. We rag on it for being a slow turd, not for its handling abilities. The name of the list is "drivers cars" not "fast cars". You should have been swallowed.

Don't get me wrong, I like this car a lot, but if it shines on the track, why does it post slower times than 95% of the cars in its price range? It's a good platform to build something from but its not fast in any segment vs other cars in its price range. Acceleration is a part of any kind of racing, not just drag racing.

Unless I was building some sort of dedicated track car, or had plans to drop 15k in mods, I don't think I would ever give up an Evo for one of these.

Now I see this car as often as I see a Civic Si or GTI. Actually, I have seen more FRS/BRZ's on the road in the past month than GTI's. No reason for it to have a spotted thread anymore.

How about you go back to pretending your a Subaru tech? This thread derailed a long time ago. Also agree with jpalmer I don't know why this tread was made.

This spotted thread was made in July... That's like saying we should go ahead and delete any spotted thread for any car that has been in production for longer than 2 months.

I'm the idiot and you know what your talking about? You know how many quotes I can pull from this and the other frs/brz post on the stupid stuff you say? For instance you claimed and saw a turbo version. Yet Subaru and Toyota clearly stated multiple times saying there will never be one for USA. You know nothing about these cars, have you even seen one? I feel I can walk all over you about these cars just using the tools in my trunk.

This site has gone downhill. I use to love coming on here but since the last few months its just been members bashing on other members sharing their ideas on a forum meant to share ideas.

Stopped by and watched a few brz's and a frs at Warminster auto-x Sunday. There was a blue one with white wheels that looked great. ( I think your on here)
Not sure why everyone gets their panties in a bunch over these cars. I owned a rx8 and 2 350's and while they are pretty damn slow in a strait line, they are fun to drive and rewarding to drive fast on the track.
