I was referring more to their smokers. You could use one of them on your grill and not need to buy a bigger smoker. I've read good results on BBQ forums, also read about a few problems but i imagine that inherent in most products.

I'm starting some plans to build an offset smoker out of some barrels. I debated doing a UBS since it would be much easier and cheaper to build. Although I want to use wood as my heat source since I burn wood in the house during the winter so I usually always have some, but a UBS primarially uses charcoal as it's source.

My grill actually has a smoker box built into the 1 side with a dedicated burner. I used it once while I grilled some burgers. Worked great and added just a hint of smoke.

Not sure if I need a bigger smoker... but I def want a better one. I think my temps jump quite a bit actually since this one isn't really insulated.

I really can't use the grill to smoke though. We just moved to a 2nd floor apartment and it would be rude to the neighbors. I have to use the yard now to smoke.

power dropped in my office overnight. all hell broke loose. and of course the HVAC system went out too. its currently 87 degrees in here, and humid as hell. waiting for the computers to start dropping like flies.
