Four Cylinder Races at Wall Stadium

I was at Wall Stadium, near the Jersey Shore, two weeks ago, and they introduced a new class for competition, four cylinders. The cars are stock with a roll cage added, and run on a 1/3 mile high-banked paved oval. The racing was good and inexpensive. The winner said his car cost $600 to put together.
They don't run every Saturday, so check with the track for when they are on the schedule.
This might be a cool and cheap way to do some racing. Just thought I would share.

It's basically a mini nascar race with 4 cylinder cars on a dirt oval for 50 laps. It is similar to the Rally Cross competition Top Gear participated in when they said racing is cheaper than Golf.

Don't knock it until you've been there or tried it.

Wall is a paved track that runs every Saturday night. The car counts and track are suffering as the amount of racing fans in the state of NJ is quickly declining.

The track added the division as a way to create a new entry level division that would draw more cars, crews, and fans to the speedway. Wall is the last paved oval left in a state where there used to be at least 10.

If any of you are interested in racing, please check it out. I trust you that cars on that track are fast and the races last a lot longer than a 10-15 second run at Etown.
