I didn't read the comic but my friend was telling me in the comic it says everyone already has the virus in them .I don't know where it came from and how everyone got it but it's already In everyone. So pretty much doesn't matter what they die of they will always come back as zombies. Comic book and show are a little different makes me wanna read it cause there is a lot more going on in there then the show.

Yea, no one in the show seems to be concerned that they're coming back without being bitten or anything. They're mentioning it, noticing that they hadn't been bitten, but don't seem concerned. I'd be like "WTF?!? I shot you, you shouldn't be a zombie!"

Rick is taking charge and being pretty bad ass lately. The season finale is going to be nuts. Definitely massive zombie body count.

They only found 2 dead walkers who had no bites, but had scratches covering them so they thought that was the cause. The only time its happened other than that specific time, was this episode with Shane and the prisoner kid, and they haven't had enough time to react to it because the show ended a few minutes after the 2 incidents came to light. Next weeks episode will start right where this one left off, and I am sure they will mention it after they defend their house.

I think Herschel will die eventually, and later on in the series, a cure will be found like he thought was possible originally. (Iv never read the comic, so just IMO).

Still waiting for Dales brother to show up too? His actual brother, not a illusion.

Lets just say Shane being killed rick's son pays homage to the books (not exactly but good enough IMO)

also they whole he was not bitten has not happend to 4 subjects that you know of. The 2 cops and the 2 characters from yesterday. This ALSO pays homage to the book, but i dont want to spoil it for everyone ;)

again ive come across the setting for next season by the announcement of one of hte casted characters which has me SO pumped. ill spoil, a bit, for anyone who wants it lolol

No Spoils, I love guessing whats gonna happen and so forth... i figured the virus was either in the air or everyone had the virus its just too weak to over come a person with a healthy immune system.

Had a feeling Shane was going to die in last night’s episode. Everyone’s status on my facebook feed right after the show was either about Shane dying or the body’s becoming walkers without being bitten. I CAN NOT WAIT for next week’s episode.

I told my wife that I want to start reading the comics after this season is done so I can get my walking dead fix while they film the next season. I guess I’ll have The Killing to get me by on Sunday’s to get me by.

also remeber at the end of season 1 at the CDC...the guy that worked there whispered something to Rick....wonder what that was? lol....(its air borne, everyone is infected...maybe?)


i think that everyone is infected to some degree, but it doesn't have the catalyst to tunr zombie unless bitten, or you die...

also in terms of a cure, i htink that Ricks unborn baby might be the solution? maybe being born exposed to the tame viure will yield a cure?

Had to take a few shots of whiskey to read this but, you have an interesting point. Though the creators of the child were infected (possibly) when the boom boom happened sooo therefore wouldnt the child be infected (possibly)

Doubt the child is relevant, in the comics lori dies before giving birth. Everyone is infected, you die you get back up unless you get it to the dome. Never really explained in the comics as the zombies are not very important in the comics, surviving is.

If your going to post anything about the comics that hasnt happened already in the series, can you please label your post as containing possible spoilers (like i did in my post). I havent read the comics and have now been spoiled. That isnt cool since i really enjoy the show.

is it even possible to spoiler comic books that came out 8 years ago? The show doesn't follow the comics at all. Also guys Bruce Wayne is Batman, sorry to spoil that too. There were no rules posted in the first post of the thread regarding spoilers - Didn't know it had to be tagged.

It's possible to be spoiled if you never read the comics. According to what i do know about the comics and the show they coincide well enough that you spoiled that huge event for us all who haven't read the comic.

I spoiled an 8 year old comic... I could understand if people didn't have time to read it and it was a few months old, but 8 years? It's like saying the penguin dies in batman returns... it's not even a major point in the comic..

The major points of both seasons were not events in the comic at all, no sophia, no cdc, hershels farm going on this long, the zombies coming to the farm, shanes death, none of these are in the comic.... they are so incredibly loosely based on the comics
