Quibids! Anyone every use it or know of anyone.

So we all see those commercials on the tv for quibids. Has anyone ever bought anything off of there or know of anyone that has? If so let me know what you think. I went on the website and seems like you can get steals on there. Just wondering how it all works if you win a bid.

horrible. they get you with these "oh get this for only 99 cents"

the scam is you have to buy bids and theres no time limit on when an item ends. lets say an ipad is currently at $100 and the auction ends in 15 seconds. if someone bids in that 15 seconds then the price goes to $100.01 and the 15 seconds starts all over again. keep repeating and by the time you get to $102 you could have wasted 3 hours of your life, not to mention you have to pay for every bid.

yeah i saw you had to buy "quibids'. so basically you have to use those to "bid"? and im sure they have people that just sit there and bid just to get the price to go up and keep the bid open.

yes you have to buy each bid and the frustrating thing is you never know when an auction is going to end because once it gets to the final seconds, if someone bids it goes back to either 10 seconds or 15 seconds so you can waste a ton of bids hoping that no one else is going to bid.

I would play the lotto before this. Atleast there you know your odds of winning.

i mean what if u use all your bids on one item? seems fishy but at the same time you could get some steals.

How much does 1 bid cost? Seems like a good deal if you place a couple bids and win depending how much they cost. But if your spending more money to bid than the items worth...

you can use all your bids on 1 item if you like but the thing is theres no set time the auction ends thats the problem.

Your odds of getting herpies from banging a hooker without a rubber are probally higher then winning these auctions.

I tried that through the commercial Mike and Mike had in the morning except it was a different site. I got 10 free bids for signing up, and yeah definitely not worth it even though you can get some steals.

penny bidding sites are a ripoff. they charge you $0.60 in fees for every bid that is placed.... You're better off sticking to eBay.
