picked up my first bike today. Any feedback is appreciated because im sure theres plenty of people that know more about it than i do. Sure its not a gsxr or an r1 or whatever but it was well within my price range and i only had to drive 4 blocks to get it. not a bad first bike though even if its a 750.

Do yourself a favor and take the safety course if you haven't already.

got the gear covered and im takin the course in spring if not sooner. so far i've ridin a ninja 250 for 5 minutes in a parking lot and my katana for about 4 minutes when i rode it home and honestly i don't understand how some people have so much trouble riding their first time. not saying im a pro or anything but i think its alot easier than what people make it come off to be.

make sure you get your permit first. first courses sign up tomorrow for mid april.

got the permit takin care of. hell you could pass that test in your sleep. still a little choppy on the bike but i try to ride as much as possible to get use to it

yea i know, it wasnt the difficult. go to the dmv website and sign up for the classes today. its free and they provide a bike. plus once you finish the free course, they give you your license.

just registered for it yesterday. thought about using my own bike but the d&d slip-on would rattle everyones ears off lol

Unless you have been riding for a while, passing the test on a sportbike is not a good idea, you really gotta flick and twist to get through the figure 8. The rest of the test is a breeze.
The course is much more fun, you get to beat on the 125's and 250's as well as a standard dirtbike.

yea i was just bs'n about usin my own bike but yea i don't mind beatin the piss out of a 250 thats not mine. not at all

It's not that you'll be "beating the piss" out of it, but when you inevitably drop one of their bikes, you can just put it on the trailer and grab a new one if you bend the bars.
