Post Varsity Auto Detailing ~ Bryan Troll's 1994 Supra

Year: 1994
Make: Toyota
Model: Supra
Mileage: 87,000
Color: Black
Paint Type: Solid
Job: Dual Stage Polish

Info: For almost two years now Bryan and I had been talking about Varsity Auto Detailing becoming a TST Vendor. After a long period of time we decided to pull the trigger and become the only detailing vendor on Tristate. After becoming vendors Bryan and I began talking about detailing the Supra for the Philly Auto Show. The plans for the booth was up in the air, Bryan was traveling a lot, and Gary Stuffo wasn't sure I'd have time todo his car, but at the last minute we set a date. We had three days to do the detail but on the first day we got delayed and got very little done. The time constraints were tight but we were able to finish all the polishing at Bryan's house and finish the rest at the Auto Show on roll in day.

Car Description:
Much The paint was severely swirled and hologramed on most panels. There were a few spots of clear coat failure, possible burns, and unknown markings present throughout the paint. The black paint was very soft and swirled upon touch with microfiber cloths. The process used was SIP on black at 1,300rpm for many passes, followed by an alcohol wipe down. The paint was then polished with 106fa on black at 1,300rpm for many passes, also followed by an alcohol wipe down. The two polishing steps showed good results and the final result was hologram free, but still maintained some light swirling. The paint was then protected with Black Fire Wet Diamond Sealant giving the car protection for around six months.

The car came out great other than polishing the exhaust system.

The exhaust tip was actually polished before the show started but after the photos were taken. I'll shoot troll a text and see if he can take a picture of the exhaust tip.

I wouldn't worry about it, it just didn't look cleaned up in the pics. I apologize if it was.

Lol, it's no big deal. I just don't want people thinking I forgot to do the exhaust tip on a car displayed in the auto show, hahaha.

Haha it's all good, hell even at your worst you're prolly still 100 times better at detailing than I am. Atleast you can use a buffer lol.
