..

to a newbie i say try starting out on dirt. especially for throttle and clutch feel. plus dirt doesnt hurt as much as pavement.

the article I think applies to the vast majority of new riders but there of the select few that just have that natural talent to learn new things and adapt faster than others can. overestimating your riding abilties can be deadly but this doesn't mean everyone needs to start out on a ninja 250 to get into the bike scene either, hell i'm sure their are plenty that have started out on 1000's with no problem. too each his own I guess is was im trying to say. besides basic laws of physics, no one rule or statment applies to all 100% of everyone.

but then again the article is refering to a brand new rider with no experience what so ever. so in that case every word it says is true.

Thats why you specifically let the Noobs be in the front to control the pace so they aren't riding past their skills and risking injury.

Natural talent =/= experience. I know for a FACT I didn't max out my skills or the bike on my Ninja 250. I got to a point that I felt confortable and wanted a larger bike and bought my GSXR600. I honestly think I rode my 250 harder then my 600.
