This one guy I bought my Weld Wheels from are still in transit. He lives in NC and they have been in transit since October. Went through the same **** with UPS and they shipped them back to his house and now I'm still waiting. Thank god he's a straight up dude.

Oh yeah and when I eventually upgrade the Monte Carlo I'm looking at the Mercedes C-Class, but I'm a little nervous about having a rear wheel drive car in the winter time. I didn't enjoy my experience with the mustang.

I would take the whole RWD in the snow is horrible with a grain of salt. I actually felt safter in the snow with my GTO then I did any of my FWD cars. It isn't as easy to drive as FWD/AWD but it still works. Plus, I'm sure Mercedes took the time to enginer the car to actually work LOL

Probably because you never got stuck in the snow in one of your RWD cars. That's where the whole thing comes from because in a FWD car, if you get stuck you can rotate drive wheels to guy and get out of it. In a RWD they are fixed and can only go forward or backwards... so someone's Hussein getting out to push.

Speaking of getting out to push... I was out on my bike ride a couple weeks ago and guy came down to the boat club I ride by in his brand new Z4. He didn't know the road was washed out from flooding. He went to turn around and ended up backing over the embankment, it hurt to see. Anyway, this douche had his GIRLFRIEND out behind the car stacking rocks so he could drive back up...

I got stuck in the snow with my summer tires on :-)... then once I got out I got stuck trying to get home to swap for my all-seasons LOL. It wasn't nearly as difficult as people make it to be.

I think more has to do with the specific car and tire choice then it does with it being RWD.

I cannot even describe to you how awesome the 540 was in the snow last year with the dunlop wintersport m3's. Holy insane. I was *plowing* snow deeper than the car. I finally got stuck in a FOOT AND A HALF of snow. The 540 M sport has very little ground clearance, same as the M5 and less than the m3 does even lowered and it did fine. Great even. I was so so so impressed.

This was a very common sight last year. Notice it's sitting on like 5 inches of snow.

I had just all-seasons(Potenza 960AS) and was fine. Would love to shell out $1000 for some dedicated snow tires but going to work just isn't that important to me LOL

I gotta say this weekend was one of the best ones ive had in a long time.

dj'd thursday night, went to iron abbey friday night and wound up at paddywhacks to talk business after. Saturday morning was Shady Maple, dj'd saturday night for a private party at the bar, went to my aunt and uncles holiday party afterwards, and wound up back at paddywhacks Sunday did some christmas shopping in the morning, then headed out to the eagles game. game was awesome, and the seats kicked ass. 2nd year in a row I took someone to their first eagles game lol.

Got some pretty aggressive tires on my durango, so snow won't be an issue. Ice on the other hand, lets just say a 5000 pound plus suv with all 4 wheels spinning is not fun.

And on another note, thinking about getting my geek on and getting the new star wars game tomorrow.
