the report that says he had 23 driving violations, that only includes in THIS country too.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZ4v_...feature=relmfu

just sayin, i think these videos speak volumes. Jackasses do things. Fans jock Jackasses. Fans want to emulate Jackasses. Kids die trying to do the same thing Jackasses do. Not that I think anything that could be misconstrued as a negative influence should be banned from TV, but clearly we should not allow ILLEGAL activity to be aired on TV so that kids get the idea that its not that big of a deal. I REALLY hope that lots of people learned a lesson from Ryan's death....but I highly doubt it.

thats all, you must be really bored. So every show with fighting or anything like that should not be allowed? When did we turn into a communist country?

So we shouldn't ban anything that could be "misconstrued as a negative influence", but "CLEARLY" we should "not allow illegal activity to be aired on tv".

So no car chases, bank robberies, terrorism, hijackings, kidnappings, explosions, gun fights, arson, murder, etc etc...

Instead of limiting the rights and freedoms of everyone because of the irresponsible actions of one idiot, how about considering the literally billions of responsible people who have watched those same movies and TV shows and NOT done anything stupid? You really seem to enjoy deciding whats best for everyone else.

Enjoy watching Care Bears and Muppets movies for the rest of your life, comrade.

I'm sorry. I'm a fan of Jackass, Viva La Bam, and Wild Boys. Just because I see them do stupid "illegal" stuff doesn't mean I'm gonna jump up off my couch and go do what they do. Ryan made a bad decision that night and it cost him his life and the life of another man but to be honest his death isn't gonna teach anyone anything. He's not the only person who chose to drink and drive. I know a lot of people who do it or have done it. Just because kids see it on tv doesn't mean there gonna do it too just to see if they can. It's illegal to shot people (except in sell defense but even then its not always right) but are you gonna get rid of EVERY movie/tv show that has someone shooting another person? Or beating people up? Seriously?!

You obviously don't have kids, or aren't around them enough to realize how influential other peoples actions are on them. Not just celebrity's, anyone. I went to Henderson in West Chester, and the "cool thing" to do back than, was film JackAss stunts, because they were so cool and from our town! Not speaking for everyone, but enough young people are like that where its concerning.

My son is 6 months old. Now unless tv has a huge influence on babies I don't think there's a problem. I have a 21 year old brother and he watched those shows and never went out to do the stunts. I have a 15 year old sister who thought some of the stuff was funny and she said she wanted to try them but she has a brain that works perfectly well and never tried anything like that. It's about parents who raise there kids to know right from wrong and safe from dangerous. If kids are dumb enough to go out and still do stupid stuff knowing what they do then that's on them. Should we get rid of skateboards because pros do it and kids learn to do tricks just like pros and get hurt? No. If people wanna do what they see on tv whatever. More power to them. If they think they won't get hurt or killed or hurt or kill someone else there wrong. If they find out the hard way then that's on them. My dad raced dirt track modifieds. I loved goin to watch him and thought it was really cool. It's racing. It involves dangerous moves and speed. I'm all for that stuff. But I never went out and did it cause my dad did. I know my limit of what I can/can't should/shouldn't. If I wanted to I could learn to race. Do I want to? No. A little too much danger for me. A non celebrity right there that didn't influence me. Common sense
