It was an early Kseries car, since they use cable shifters and if you're not careful it's really easy to accidentily do a 3-1 shift. They have since come out with better shifters and shifter upgrades to help with this.

This car made something like 950whp. Apparantly the flywheel looked akin to a pretzel after the fact. Pretty crazy.

this happened at import vs domestic. car did a 1-2-1 shift. not very possible to go from 3rd to 1st by mistake
