omg, drove up to atco in hopes of running my car, saw a retarded amount of cars in the staging lanes, instead of getting 1 ****ty run in and being pissed off, I just turned around and went home pissed off.

Yeah, I installed my MBC in the hopes of getting a few runs in to get tuned in and whatnot. I was shooting for only a few pounds over the 13 the wastegate is set at, overshot that by a bit...
Left the dome light on last night, jumper cables were crap, so getting the thing started was a half hour fiasco.
Ended up popping the IC piping the fist run, around 12pm.
Didn't get another run in until 5pm. That was a 25 psi, half-a-million knock count, 6k+ misfire disaster run.
Came home, and was more productive tuning the car for an hour in an industrial park.
No knock in a 3rd gear pull till up till 6.5K, then i get (what i think is) spark breakup. Gotta check the plugs tomorrow.
The word that I heard was that there was about 250 cars in the morning. The most runs that any car got was 3. A big waste of time and money IMO.

Saw the car there, it sounded good you just need to get it tuned in and get more seat time. I heard people already referred you to K.P. Tuning. I'd recommend hitting him up as well.


Had a great times, got videos of a lot of cars, and saw a lot of old friends. I'll be slowly posting videos up as the weeks go by.

Love the auto man, rowing gears sucks!
Car is running a crap ton better now, ended up at an industrial park, and I ended up having to add 2-10% fuel across the upper range of the RPM's and pull a few degrees of timing in select spots.
I might try and get out to a few more friday nights befroe i pull the motor.
Yeah, the seat time is a huge factor, if i had to do it over again, i would have driven it more in a milder form, its a real mind changer going from an auto RWD truck with nitrous to a AWD turbo car.
Once i get the cams degreed, I'll prolly take it to someone better than me at tuning. WHich at this point, a goldfish in front of a computer may be better.

My buddy got 7 runs in for the full day and could of have 9-10 if he didn't sit out half the night session.
Had 4 or 5 runs in the morning session alone. Just depended on what time you got there. Were were there around 9:45 and left at 10:15.

I was in the lanes by 1230. If he got 4-5 runs in the morning session then he got 4 of those runs in between 10 and 1230.

I contemplating hitting up a test and tune this week...
