Opinions? is it mod-worthy? I was told they have the rb20de in them. Any owners?

The B13 SE-R came with the SR20DE, very reliable, fuel efficient, and good for at least 300+ hp on the stock bottom-end. The car has fully independent suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, and handles well. Easily turbo'd with OEM/JDM parts. Makes for a great track car, or a sweet little street sleeper, but you're probably not going to win any NOPI awards with it. What are your intentions?

Good starting car to mod on a budget. Stock motor can be boosted but stock lsd tranny's on these car don't last on boost, just be weary of that if going the boost route. Drop some JWT S3 or S4 cams, header and 2.5 exhaust and you'll have yourself a peppy ride. Stock sr20de motors can last into the 200's if taken care of by previous owner(s). Like what was said above, what are you intentions?

SHO I could have taken ya for a ride in my se-r yesterday but I didnt get to talk to ya . Might I add it was on car n drivers top ten list the first 4 years it was introduced . It gave the 3 series BMW some competition . Come out to the Nissan meet Nov 13 and see some nice se-r's

My intentions are evil. probbly blow a few tranny's or build one. The SHO just is very DIY and mod unfrendly without a lift or ridiculous access to money. I'm really into imports and 4 cylinders for some reason. but in all honesty id like to make it at least live up to the SHO cause I have a reputation to uphold in the school parking lot ya know haha mainly bolt on's and MAYBE boost or a dry shot depending on how these motors take nitro

Seriously though, B13 SE-Rs are getting to be a rare thing, in good stock condition. But if you come across a beater, do your thing. Just be aware, these cars are more about handling than outright power, so modding in that direction will get you the most bang for your buck. So hopefully your school parking lot looks a lot like Lime Rock!

True on the handling part but a t25 on a stock Sr20de becomes a hole different animal at 10-12psi . And the bottom end can hold that all day . I would be into Honda camp my self but owning one you have to sleep with one eye open and they are very easy targeted for autotheft . Se-r's are a hidden gem and hard to find but if you find one they are not likely to get stolen as fast as a civic or integra would . Put it this way my friends stock looking integra was stolen sitting next to Very modded out 90's turbo eclipse and the integra had a alarm on it and eclipse had no alarm . Choose wisely too many shady people out there looking for hondas and honda parts .

The B14 SE-Rs are pretty ugly in my opinion. If you have your heart set on a FWD SR20 vehicle, look into P10 Infiniti G20s. Might have a better chance finding a stock one.

Awesome I had a 91 also for a daily driver I wanted to swap the 323gtx 1.8t motor but ended up selling it . I've seen a turbo 92 gt running 12's all day . Back on track the g20 is a good find too. But look for a g20 ''T'' model wich indicates it has the LSD trans in it. Those have slight better handling then the se-r due to a third link in the suspension . But they do weigh about 200 lbs more due to all the luxury stuff . In my opinion the 200sx is a easy find and has the same powertrain but with different rear suspension setup in the form of a solid beam wich hurts its handling big time . I.had a 96 200sx Ser with tein coilovers and it didn't compare in handling to a b13 with just springs and sway bars . Sorry JET I know you have my old 200sx lol.

^ fubar .. I might just keep it as its been too much of hassle trying to sell it . People want it for free ! Lol

But I will entertain trade offers for clean rust free 240/260/280z or maybe a clean s13 coupe .

LOL Keith, everything that was in my B14 is going into "your" old ride. No teins for me brah, putting my csk's in. You'll be doing a double take once I'm done with the project.
