what earthquake?

There's an underground mine near my office that sets off dynamite on a regular basis so when the building shook no one here even batted an eye.

Someone said something about one in DC. A 5-6 on the scale or so? I'm guessing we got the aftershock.

Our office is so weak and spongy that I think it soaked some of it up. Bizarre to say the least, haha. First one I've felt in my life, I think.

lol that was fun. I thought my co-worker was shaking my chair - turned around, he wasn't there... Then saw our golf trophy and the lights all shaking. Pretty neat.

I was on the toilet at work and thought I was goin crazy... all the way up here in Bangor! Its been reported that it was felt from NY all the way out to OH! Dam.

I know, I was just making a joke out of the fact that our office building shakes so often from the mining everyone assumed it was just another underground dynamite explosion when the quake/aftershocks hit.

You should see the look on the faces of temps or new hires when they set one off. This big rumbling explosion shakes the entire building and everyone just continues their work without batting an eye. One time one goes off and this new guy stands up and goes, "Am I really the only one that noticed that??"

Painting my JDM grill.... thought a semi was driving down the block carrying a house... didnt know what else would shake that much. Turns out to be an earthquake.
