Going tonight to look at another S30. If I buy it the Sentra will no longer be getting a built engine, and that money will go into an even better project. Won't give that away yet but in the long run it will be cheaper and faster then working on the Sentra plus completely badass and menacing.

I need to go a little different with this one if I get it. ;) When it's done it will give your Z32 a run for its money, being I can hold traction lol.

So it looks like I'm picking up a 76 280z dirt cheap and it's complete. Getting it next Saturday then the interior is getting torn out and it is getting reinforced, rust is getting patched and a cage is most likely going in at some point. Going to look at an engine for this Z this Sunday I hope. If all goes well by Fall it should be running. If everything goes well I will create a new thread for that car. :D

There are roll cages online for the s30. I was looking at a few they ranged from $600-1200+ Some were bolt in otheres were just kits that need to be welded, I would consider this if any roll cage builder is too expensive. Cant wait to see these z's man besides my TT is slow :p and shes staying slow lol.

Update: My first Z should be on the road today if my mechanic can finish bolting everything up. Very excited to finally get it back. The 76 will be picked up Saturday. The engine I was going to buy, well when I went to look at it yesterday the prick selling it waited until I got to his house to tell me it was sold. So **** him!! Not wanting to deal with that shot again I am going to go with a stock rebuilt engine with some mild upgrades. More info on that soon.

Planning to rering the Sentra to get her boosted again. Third cylinder is toast.

Don't sleep on Sentras my friend, there have been 1 or 2 that have broken 10's at the track believe it or not.
Same with me. I decided to be different and get a used Porsche Boxster. I never see them at any meets. It was MUCH Cheaper than a 350z, RX-7, RX-8, S2000, Evo, M3, STI, 06+ SI but almost as fast with equal or better handling due to the mid-engine layout and low center of gravity of the flat-6 engine. It also weighs about the same as the Sentra. 2778 lbs. I got mine for just over $9 grand. MT, 76k miles, 7200rpm redline, 156mph top speed, RWD, Can't complain.

Good luck with the SE-R. I have driven one and they are fun. Only problem I found with them is torque steer. Some swap in a Maxima engine for better reliability and power, but that messes up handling a bit.

It also makes torque steer worse an makes the engine bay tighter then a dolphin's butthole. Thanks though.

Well more problems with the Z. We finally got it running good, but it currently does not have an exhaust on, and God damn are L28s loud with just a header. Damn thing sounded like a dragster. Anyway my new exhaust needs slight welding to fit it by my gas tank has a leak which makes welding right now too dangerous. So Im hoping to grab my the tank from the 76 Z today and slapping that on. If I can get that tank today the car could see the road tomorrow but more then likely it will be next week.

EDIT: Yea so the 76 280Z tank is way different. I don't see this working. Best bet now is patching up hole in my tank until I can source the right one.

Can't get the Sentra back on track until I have a backup car to get me to and from work.

Sentra Mishimoto Radiator. Take 2. Lol. It should be here this week. Sexy new X line rad can't wait to get it in. Wish it wasn't a Honda part but it's so cute and tiny.
EDIT: I ordered my rad Sunday, it's out for delivery right now. That puts me in a great mood at work lol.

Had a damn meltdown with the Z the other day. I feel better now lol. My buddy came and we figured out that the alternator is not charging the battery. This is causing mayhem throughout the car. Getting a new alt today, also putting in a new fuel pump and starter. Not too much left to replace on the car after this.

The Z is running real good. New alternator and some other little tweaks and it drives pretty nice, no hesitations tonight. Still can't really driver her though as there is a short in my tail light wires somewhere causing the fuse to keep blowing that powers the tail lights and dash lights. Brake lights and reverse lights work though. Will need to start tracing wires soon. If anyone is good at this please let me know. I hate tracing wires lol.
