The sad thing is, for the entire summer, I'm driving a 2007 Camry Hybrid, and I actually agree with you.

I know a few others with the same car as me, and my car has absolutely no problem doing anywhere from 70-80MPH on a highway, and I don't at all drive it efficiently--I just drive it like...a CAR. And I still get over 35MPG...

Prius drivers are a special breed of stupid. You couldn't make this sort of stupid in a lab with all the research grants in the world. In my area, I get people with Prii who pass me and flip me the bird when I'm doing 40 in a 35 or anything like that, and I simply don't get it.

Mind your own ****in business. I just happen to have this car because I need wheels for the time being, I could care less that it's a hybrid. I mean, it's nice getting 37MPG from a car the size of a Camry, but I don't ruin everyone's day doing it.

I was at an intersection today going home and I'm the right lane turning right and a prius next to me is slowly coasting towards the red light. The light turns green and the car in front of it starts to go. I kid you not it took at least 4 seconds for the guy to move and boy was he moving slow.

I had no problem passing the Prius. I didn't get to pass the old lady because she was already well ahead of us, near the merge point, by the time the Prius owner pulled out.

a few years ago i had to pick up a car from a gas station and he was parked by the vacuums. so i lay my bed down and start hooking it up and this lady in a prius pulls in over my winch cable and starts vacuuming her car. so i politely ask her to move and she tells me "ill move when im done." so i give her a few minutes and shes got this smug ****ing smirk on her face the whole time and its really starting to piss me off. five minutes later the time on the vacuum runs out, and she glances at me and goes over and puts another dollar in, and smiles at me. so i walk over and rip the hose out of the vacuum and say "now you're ****in done." the horrified look on her face as she jumped in and sped off with her hatch still open was so worth the wasted time and diesel. i hate hybrid owners with a passion now because of her.

If I have trouble with a Prius on the highway, my favorite thing to do is to get in front of them, and constantly slow them down and let them speed back up. I do it when trucks cruise in the left lane doing 60 too. The one thing hybrid owners and truck drivers care about is gas mileage. If youre gonna sit in the left lane like a putz, im gonna kill your gas mileage until you get the point.

Hop in front of em, bring em down to 45, then speed back up to 55. When they catch up, bring em back down to 45. And repeat.

I dont care if people wanna go slow, but get the **** out of the left lane if youre scared to do over 60. Im trying to cruise at 80 and youre making it difficult.

I once encountered this lady doing 53 in the left lane on the turnpike, with NO OTHER cars on the road. I refused to go around her just out of principle. She never moved over. So I finally went around her, and slowed her down to 35 (on the turnpike) before she understood. I dont get it. If youre the only one on the road, and youre in the left lane... and someone is shoving their bumper up your cornhole... get the **** outta the way!

When I had my tahoe same situation on 95. Dude emptied an entire washer bottle at me. Like I care, my wipers work lol. Then a cop came up so I moved over and he decided to brake check the cop. Yea that wasn't smart.

LOL I do that **** all the time. Once I had a guy follow me almost all the way home because he was so pissed that I slowed down in front of him. I sat behind him for at least a couple minutes before flashing my brights. I waited some more. Still doesn't move over. I flash the lights again. Still no response so I finally get a chance to pass the guy on the right and as I do so, he gives me the finger.

So I jump in front of him and slow down to about 40mph. Of course as soon as he pulls over to pass I just downshift and blast away from him before pulling back into the right lane to make sure he gets the hint.

So he follows me who knows how far out of his way and finally at a red light, leans his head out the window and yells, "so you done driving like a douche bag?" I reply something along the lines of, "I don't know, did you figure out how to get out of the left lane yet?"

So he gets out of the car and walks up to my window and tries to accuse me of passing him on the shoulder. He tells me I'm going to cause an accident driving like that. I then calmly explain to him that the law requires him to stay in the right lane unless he's passing someone, that the way he was driving is the primary reason for road rage and tailgaters, and that I gave him plenty of chances to move over before finally passing him. While we're having this discussion the light goes through at least 2 cycles and the cars behind us are getting pissed and beeping.

So this jackass just gives them the finger and continues to listen to me educating him on proper driving etiquette. Finally, he apologizes and actually even shakes my hand before getting back in his truck and turning around. Idiot.

Didn't feel like reading 3 pages, but when I was cruising up the Jersey TP to Formula D this past weekend in my friends MK6 Golf TDI we pointed and laughed at all the prius drivers as we got better mileage than them, at normal speeds, in a cheaper car. lol To the left lane comment, I had some jerkoff in a chevy 2500 try to brake check me after I flashed my high beams once when he was doing 60 in a 65 in the left lane. He then proceeded to move over, get behind me, and keep his highs on. I brake checked him right back, only his dumbass was tailgating, so he almost sent himself into a guard rail. He then proceeded to back off.

My buddy was telling me about this rented Penske truck that kept intentionally cutting him off yesterday, who eventually blocked him from getting to his exit as they were sitting in traffic. He repeatedly pulled out in front of my buddy, blocking him for what appeared to be no reason at all. My buddy opened his sunroof and started throwing change at his window until he moved. "TINK! TINK! TINK!" Hope you got the extra insurance ****er!
