Yes its possible.

Instead of asking how much it is, tell us your budget and we'll tell you if its possible. Not gonna do a budget writeup with links for you if its straight speculation.

I was going to do one in my S14 and when all priced out I landed somewhere around $10k. Not a cheap swap.

There was a guy here locally with an S13 hatch that had a 2jz in it. Dunno whatever happened to him or the car. He did most of the fab work himself so the cost was basically materials and motor/trans in his case. I do know it isn't a cheap swap if you're letting a shop do it tho.

im willing to go thru it in the end. my problem is i used to be a supra maniac. well i am a supra maniac but mk4's are too expensive. and mk3's hard to find in decent shape. so my next fav thing is 240sx hb. so y not jus drop a 2jz in that right? lol

It's expensive and not worth it there is way better ways to go like a 1j.

Yea it was basically just the cost that made me change my mind. I just looked at the spreadsheet I put together and my total in parts came to $7,224.51.

Look in the build threads section on Supra Forum. There's a few 240s with 2jz swaps. Also the 2jz and 1jz swaps are becoming popular just like the Sr and Rb swaps in 240s.
