You did mention that you don't see it as right or wrong to pursue a taken woman, even though you don't actively do so normally. There's been countless cases where would be suiters become whole beef chili splattered all over the bedroom walls and are squeegeed up into a zip-loc bag for a closed casket funeral.

Good analogy, but really only on the surface.

We need jobs to live in today's society, Its something we need to buy food, clothes, shelter, etc. Its something we HAVE to do and something we don't necessarily involve ourselves in emotionally, bonded, and with mutual respect. It's something you do in return for money, that's it.

We don't need to be in relationships, its something we choose to involve ourselves in emotionally. It's something to be treated more delicately then a possession (a job).

The guy in the vid and the mindset of fujito (although he doesn't act on it apparently) is not someone looking to be in a relationship, its someone looking for a date. All's it is is someone willing to see if there an "upgrade" over the girls boyfriend which is of course pathetic whether they get a #, date, or hookup in t he end.

Where have I said that I am not looking to be in a relationship? You're assuming that I'm some kind of player type?

I date to find the right girl. Since the end of last summer I've gone on a lot of first dates and dated many girls. I ended it with some. Some ended it with me. Others were mutual where we obviously didn't feel the connection. I have a high standard and I won't commit to a serious relationship until I find the right girl. I'm in no rush.

You didn't say it, and to be fair I assumed it with how you first responded to this thread. The terminology and your view on relationships tells me your not looking for one though. Why would you, when you know there's upgrades out there and your girl could leave you anytime for a guy who's "persistent" enough to have himself placed for when you too have a fight.

When your dating or with a girl do you still get numbers from others? Maybe for when you two break it off you'll have someone else to date?

I don't want to stray off the original topic, but that is one thing I will not do when in a serious relationship. I won't try to or take numbers from other girls. I feel that's not fair to your partner

I think the only reason people get into relationships is because of tradition and sex. I don't see why else you'd really want to be in one. Are we really hard-wired to want to connect to the opposite sex emotionally? I think I was born without that.

I am self-sufficient.

It's not, so why would it be fair for a girl to give hers when in a relationship or have a guy be "persistent" in pushing for it?
