HPS pads on evo's are usually not the recommended ones of choice from my experience from talking to people that use their car.

HPS is an upgraded street pad. HP+ is a mild/heavy use pad and anything above that is a race grade pad.

I had HPS on my DSM and although, it's a totally different braking system they weren't loud at all.

Unless you're tracking the car, mickey, get the HPS. They will even take some mild track use, just not like Auto X or Road race...

Negative. HPS are quiet. I've always used them on the street. The HP+ pad is more geared towards the track.

so here's an update, finally. So I had the fender fixed and I got an evo 8 bumper with a new lip on. All painted to match. I love the 8 bumper a lot more than the 9. I think it looks great all together. I also got new mats to match the trunk mat :D

I thought about it but the nose is part of what I like about the 8 bumpers actually.

Yeah I like those, I really like the way this one looks though

So I went ahead and chopped up some pictures

The first is what I hope is what will happen next. It'll be lowered more and aligned

I've been debating going wingless or not. I like both the wing on and off equally as much. So here is the wingless look with it being dropped

Finally here is the hood redone in the polished look. It's not that noticeable, but I don't chop often so it could look better

Lose the wing! You'd be surprised how much more visual you get out your rear window! And cops/ricers will get off your butt. Slammed/stanced evo's look great wingless.
