So what do you guys think of this hood? I REALLY like it and I think it'll look even better on the Graphite Grey.

That color for the hood looks sick what is it considered? Polished chrome or something!

Your color will pull it off better then the yellow car but i think its to much & may clash with the wheels.

yeah that's the thing that makes me have a little doubt in doing it. But then again I wonder if that polish will accent the wheels just enough without overkilling it. I think that because I don't have anything else in a polish look except the wheels. It'll either set it off or kill it.

Definitely a tough call, were you buying a hood already done or doing one yourself?

I was going to do it myself. Unless I could find a hood for cheap

I say go for it, worse case scenario is that you just have to repaint it...

yeah all is not well unfortunately. About 3 weeks ago I got in an accident because some jerk-off tried to pass me and hit my front fender, bumper and worst of all, my wheel. It mangled the lip and destroyed my fender. The bumper is only a little messed up but I wanted to change my bumper out anyway. So I am replacing it with a chopped nose Evo 8 bumper. I don't like the two holes on the front of the 9 and plus it was getting pretty beat up. So my fender is getting fixed tomorrow and my wheel will be fixed as well.

Other than that, the car is good. I replaced the brakes about a month ago with Project Mu pads. Man, are they ever squeaky. The pads work really well but they're so noisy and I hate braking now. I might replace them with stock ones just so they don't make noise.

I just went to Disney for a week and to be honest, before I left I was getting really tired of my car and I debated getting rid of it. It's just one of those things where you get in a rut and you know every single thing that is wrong. I just wasn't motivated to do anything with it. I wasn't looking in to fixing things and I wasn't happy driving at all. I was so upset for about a month or so and I actually almost put it up for sale. So I told my girlfriend this and she just said wait until we get back from vacation and see how you feel about it. So we get back and I have never been so happy to see my car. I just got this burst of motivation to fix everything and start heading forward again. I think I'm almost where I want to be with the car in general. I got almost everything done that I wanted to so I can now get everything back together and just enjoy the car. I'm really glad I got away for a week. It helped clear my mind and take the stress out of life. More importantly thought it helped reignite my love for the car.

I'll post a picture up tomorrow of the damage. It's not pretty.

Most race grade pads are going to be very loud when they are cold. Get some Hawk HPS pads and you'll be happy again. Sorry to hear about the accident. Definitely sucks.
