Ok so i got a cotation while siting parked engine off. He got my for tint, blacked out tails and no amber lights. Arent these moving violations only? Thought i had to be pulled over for a moving violation to get those added on.

He or she cited you for equipment violations. Moving violations are speeding, unsafe lane change, improper backing, etc...

If you drive your car on public roads, which you obviously do, you can be cited for those equipment violations.

Ok. To get it inspected, does it have to be that same cop? I was at a buddy's and he is not that close, or can I take it to any police barracks?

We do inspections much differently in DE then in PA so hopefully a PA guy can chime in. I'm assuming any police barracks, though...

Ok, One last question. Does this citation remain in the system after it is inspected again and I get it signed by a cop? Or does it disappear?

did he give you a citation or a warning?

If I want to have someone fix something I give them a card with a section on the back an inspection station fills out and you mail it back to me, or it turns into a citation

I cant speak for all depts but if I give someone a "fix it" ticket you can come back and have one of the officers at my dept sign off on it or if I am there I will do it, or if you're far you can have any inspection station do it

I did not get a ticket, or a warning. He gave me a fix it ticket, he stated I had to remove everything that he listed and get it inspected by him/his department. However, his department is quit a bit from me, and I have a police barracks down the street from me. Can I take it to them, have them sign off on it, then mail it in? This happened in york btw.
