Ok, I made the mistake of letting a friend wire gauges in my car. No problem, everything works great.

I got a cel yesterday, and when I was at work, went to plug in my scan tool and retrieve the code. That wouldn't have been a problem if my obd2 connector was there!!!

Instead, I find a bunch of wires (most likely the ones that go to the connector)tapped up individually.

He had to of blown a fuse or 2 but i found nothing blown so the car runs fine.

my question is this.

I can't find a diaghram showing what color wires go to what position on the connector.

can anybody help?

no the wires weren't cut out of the connector... it looks like it was pulled out, and the metal inserts came out still attached to the wires. thank god.

Now, I just need to know where a few of them go. I've figured some of them out, but I will wait until I have all the necessary info gathered, to do it right the first time.

The wire colors in question regaurding location on the obd connector are:

Brown/ White stripe
Light Green/ Red stripe
Black/ White stipe

I've got wiring diaghrams on multiple subaru wrx/sti/rs manuals. But, as far as I can tell, only show 6 wires out of the total 8...

only thing I figure that could help explain some of this nightmare, would be an actual picture of the wiring locations on the connector.
