no one is playing penis size though.. It's about helping a cause, regardless of who makes how much more or how much bigger this event was than this one..

And it's not about what events 'you' are partaking in.

It's a cause.. And a good one at that.

Cindy's Cars for Paws meet last year in NJ had like 50 cars show up and we raised almost $1000. For the Sonic meet to only raise $5000 with 1000 cars when Sonic itself is donating some money from every sale to me means TST didn't do a whole lot other then throw their name in it.

I personally had higher expectations of Sonic last year.

I went.. It was fine for me. Not good or bad. The cruise down was fun but people drive too slow. Frankly I think it's a bad location. I don't understand the charity angle. Maybe I'm heartless but I just don't give a ****. I don't care if it raises 3 cents. If I want to donate to a charity, I will donate cold hard cash. I don't need some organized event donating portions of proceeds with the potential for fuzzy math going on. I donate to things I care about like the EFF and Geohot's defense. I don't know. The charity thing seems like thinly veiled shameless self promotion. It just feels weird to me, like lacking in tact.

As for money raised, Jpalamar what you mean barely any money? $5000 is pretty significant for 1000 people showing up buying food and just hanging out. Any little bit helps people you know.
