not sure what the tow hook sticking out of the hood is for though.

Definitely one of my favorite miatas of all time too. I think it was featured in modified mag?

Can you still get those fender flares? I thought they were discontinued.

Also...what's the point in removing the door cards? They weigh nothing.

Sorry it took so long to reply. I spent the last 6 hours removing the door cards and cup holder out of my car to save 1lb. I can already notice the difference. I can pull an extra G around my test track, get better gas mileage while doing it, and my brake pads wear out slower!

(My test track is the deny's parking lot)

I'm sure I could get those fender flares if I look hard enough for them. The Miata is one of the lightest cars on the road, if not THE lightest car under $50,000 (Lotus territory) so trying to break under the 2,000lb barrier is great fun.

Yay to the flares, but that car is not pulling them off. Skinny wheels, just lower offset. If you do something like these use a calculator and use that backspace to allow you to pull off a proper wheel fitment.

honestly... i was thinking about buying a carbon fiber tillet b5. one is for sale right now, but apparently you cant fit two of them, so im not sure if i want mismatching seats.

youre right though exige seats are tough to find, but for the price you can do better. because its so tough getting in and out, the side bolsters arent as aggressive as they should/need to be. very very comfortable considering its a fixed chair.
