I've been working like a madman the last 6 months, haven't really had time to work on the car or anything. I just want to bring the car back to what it was, not stock but close to it, and just have a fun car again. Now that I have rolled and lightly pulled fenders and the car will be higher, I can run a pretty fat tire.

I want to get the car back to stockish and get it repaired first, then spend money on wheels and tires and suspension stuff. I may just raise it up in the spring and take it to mazda and then do all the mods after.

Depending on what mazda quotes me for a repair, a new heart may be easier. Im still convinced its nothing internal because the engine doesn't burn anything, smoke, knock, perfect compression. I want to put the factory exhaust back on first

I hardly think a new motor is necessary. Get someone who knows what they're doing to look at it and diagnose then fix the issue.

Why not Faulkner Mazda? It's right in the area and I'm positive they can get it in and out for you.

Take the car to E-Town. WOT sideways fixes many issues, or makes them break so you can find them easier.
