"Cops" in Cherry Hill, Voorheese, Evesham, etc. Are not real cops. They are cockheads with there heads filled with hot air and all they do is power trip and play detective. I cant even count how many times I have gotten tickets in those cities.
While I understand you don't mean all of them, you probably should state that here. I've had plenty of great experiences with cops in the suburbs.

Here is an excerpt from an online article.

'The criminal gangs, drug dealers and other violent predators of Camden are eagerly waiting to exploit this lapse in coverage. The T-shirts popping up on gang members celebrating Jan. 18 as a day to reclaim Camden's streets are testimony to that. In what other community in our area would such an event be openly celebrated by some?"

It's hilarious how this has been downplayed. It really is a forgotten city.

Cooper Hospital and The water front are privately owned and pay taxes to Camden so I don't think they are the problem. If anything it gives people a reason to go to Camden. The officials that run Camden are the real problem.

LOL. I won't drop names but there are private investors that pretty much run the city. ;)

really though?

The bottom line is that city is in trouble and it needs help. Without it... its going to be over run and those people that live there, could be hurt or even killed. Its going to turn into the Wild Wild West.

Anyone who posts here and has that kind of attitude... can kiss my ass.

I still have friends and family that live there.

Have never had a positive experience ever with a suburb cop. And I have a clean ass driving record, never had points, all my cars are insured and tagged, never had a warrant for my arrest, or an unpaid ticket. But still everytime I get pulled over I get treated by a criminal. By the same people whose salary I am paying. Burb cops are just hasslers, cause their job depends on how many tickets they write rather than lives they save. Thats not a cop to me. I believe that they should cut back on cops in the suburbs and put more cops into Camden and bad cities. Or the money they save on cutting cops in the suburbs could go into spending money to fix up these ridiculous roads.

Now that I actually own property and pay 6000+ a year in property taxes hitting potholes in my town hurts that much more, and getting retarded tickets puts that much more of a dent in my pocket. And knowing that if any of my cars ever get vandalized nothing will come of it. its a beautiful system.

Hey man I could be 100% wrong, but in my mind cops in the suburbs have to bring revenue to the city and to me its just like any other job. Numbers demonstrate how much work you do. Unless you can explain it to me differently? The city just like any business has to justify paying somebody X so they can bring in Y at the end of the year to the city/business.

That is horrible, but if you know about gangs you can actually understand how this will decrease gang numbers. In a bad way and its bad for the public but it will get some of them off the street.

I feel horrible saying that this isn't false. But alot of cops are people who really do want the best for their community and nothing more. Remember the people who make certain decisions aren't the cops but the politicans.

Government jobs don't work like private sector jobs.

Likewise, while yes, tickets do bring some sort of revenue to a town, the hiring of officers isn't based off it.

Quotas don't exist, at least not in the way that you think they do. Many towns require officers to spend X amount of time doing Y, but this does not mean "write 20 tickets this week or you are fired."

I think any police officer can be a dick. It depends on there mood that day. Most city police officers could care less about some guy driving down the street with exhaust on there car. You get around certian areas and there like Hinayana'a and wait to strike. Ive seen tricks time and time again played by them. Why do you think they have undercover cars on the highway mostly. Yeah yeah you shouldnt be speeding but I feel like its so people who dont know what to look for keep driving 5 over the speed limit and then they give out tickets.

Like the 295 construction by lawnside, cherry hill. Last year of course when it was warm out where, setup on the 561 over pass with a cop and a radar gun. That is about a 1/8th mile after the construction ends. They would radar people, radio to a officer that was sitting just north of 561 going north right passed the north bound on ramp about what car to pull over, and they would get hit...that officer on the over pass would get in his car go down and sit in the same spot and they would keep rotating. One morning I seen 4 cars pulled over. Whos to say they didnt pick up there speed as they where leaving the construction area. Can you say fishing lol. I never got pulled over in that because I do the speed limit, but its crap like this which screams "business" not "protect and serve". Im sure all those people got there tickets dropped to lesser charge ticket with no points just to put money into the budget.

Maybe you should try researching next time or look harder at what people say. Since you werent able to understand, let me help you http://newyork.cbslocal.com/2011/01/...avert-layoffs/
Jersey City police officers were NOT laid off....

Ive been stopped millions of times by cops. Ive been given chances and tickets in both suburbs and cities. I just hate the fact they always try to drop to a lesser charge so you can pay more......

Isnt Camden 2nd most dangerous city in the US? Maybe the layoff is so they can get to number 1

Exactly more money in the towns pocket as opposed to the some random insurance companies fat cats pocket. Its all about gettin' money and gettin' paid no matter how you slice and dice it.
