the roads SUCK right now. but man the Jeep ****ing ROCKS in 4 wheel low. I had 0 issues driving the 4.5 mile round trip to my gfs and back just now.

really wish i didnt have to work tomorrow. oh well. I parked MEGA close to the garage so hopefully the jeep wont get covered too bad since the wind is blowing.

Everything was going great. Went to the gym and then applebees with peoples.. Look outside and notice it's really starting to get bad so I head home. See people in acura TSX stuck in the middle of the intersection in no snow whatsoever and think wtf. Continue on. All is fine until I get to my development... they didn't plow. Hit a 1.5 foot snow drift 2 houses away from mine and got soundly stuck. Spent an hour or so digging out and got it near my driveway. Spent another 15 minutes digging and it powered right up into the driveway. Basically, the ****ers only plowed a small swath on my street from last night's snow so it was this snow combined with last nights and it got me. Considering the 540 has 4.6" ground clearance it doesn't do too badly in a foot of snow but now on I won't go out if the forecast is 8 or more.

You know if they EVER bothered to plow my street this wouldn't have happened. assclowns.

About to do mine. Wonder when the township is going to make an attempt to plow our street. I heard one at 5 this morning, and thats on a side street.

Made it in today. Work was open 2 hours late. My boss said to work from home, but guess what. I don't have power so not worth blowing a PTO day. Came in and one of like 15 people in.

Heather got stuck in her spot last night. Looks like eventually I'll need to get a truck and just driver her to work at this point.

Work was a breeze to get to this morning. all the roads are just wet (well, the main roads at least... 322 & 202).
Shoveled myself out at 5:30 this morning... then my mom told me not to go in so I slept a little more and when I woke up POOF the driveway was clear! I love our neighbors! hahah

that's awesome that they took care of your drive way for you! I wasn't about to shovel my driveway in the dark this morning. I'm working from home, for the second day in a row. isn't it great when your mom tells you not to go to work?!

<3 you btw. hope you're doing alright!

lol there's 4 feet of snow at the bottom of my driveway. i'm 5'2. it would take me hours to get through that. Since my mom and I are working at home and my dad closed his business today, he's outside taking care of the driveway and the apron now with our snow thrower. My mom and I shoveled during the break between snow and sleet yesterday, it seemed pretty light and fluffy then. but that was only about 6".

Yeah it definitely does make it easier. Pops has a big John Deere for like farming, and has a bucket on the front. Unfortunately he didn't bring it up front before the big snow fall.
