We just got in 45 new mac minis, and since they redesigned them, they're coming with 10.6 preloaded. Theres no way to put 10.5.8 on them to run our in-house software. The other kick in the pants is that 10.6 has a new version of java, which our software doesnt work with, and the new java isnt backwards compatible. AWESOME!

you should be able to reload lepoard on them if you have the disk.
insert disk and then reboot holding option. it should ask you if you want to boot/load off of the disk.

Wont work because they came with Snow Leopard from the factory.

Why wouldnt you be able to just install the previous os. IIRC the previous os had pretty much the same hardware anyways.

Also, why are wedding dresses so ****ing expensive? I've started looking at prom/cocktail/evening dresses just to save money. God damn $2,000+ for a dress? That's insane.

also try looking at used ones, i know it sounds skeevy but it will save you. My wife's gown was like $3k. not including shoes, vail, jewlery, etc etc.

10.6 doesn't require any different hardware than 10.5 so i don't see why there would be a problem. Do you have a 10.5 os disk you can use.

I would just back up the mini to a different drive and install 10.5 or at least try to and see what happens, worst case you just use the back up. and Apple doesn't lock their OS disks so you can install it on any machine.
