I filled the F150's bed full of snow and dropped the tire pressure to 20psi... Still all over the road.

Damn summer tires.

GTO was OK with almost bald summer tires. I was really shocked. Expected to get stuck no problem and not make it to work... but somehow I made it in with minimual slipping. Damn heavy cars.

I agree with you. I was parked on a city street that was partially plowed. The snow bank was against my driver door. After i backed up the car a few feet it pulled right out over the snow mound. I dont think that would have been so easy with summer tires.

Me: Do you think I can put the purchase of a used 4x4 on my expense reports?
Boss: try it, they may not approve it though.

Thats when you buy your 4x4 piece by piece. $100 here, $200 there... Slip it right under the radar.

Corporate BS. Everything with big companies is so ass backwards.

My work spends $1200-1800 a week on these stupid little servo motors that are supposed to last forever. Rather than fixing whatevers causing them to go bad, they just keep replacing them. But when my computer took a dump, it was a huge ordeal to get me a new one. Ended up being easier to get my '99 E-Machines desktop rebuilt than it wouldve been to buy a new one, even at twice the cost. Retarded. No wonder the place was in bankruptcy.

LOL well maybe not this EXACT situation. I just mean the general practice of spending a RIDICULOUS amount of money on something STUPID and unnecessary, but denying requests for purchases that are LEGITIMATELY needed. My company does that all the time. Theyll spend small amounts of money on DUMB crap that we dont really need, and then when a mixer goes down and we need a $20,000 electric motor.. its not in the budget. Lol.

My company would rather be nickled and dimed to death than just pay for something once. All of our machinery is bought used, and we spend a fortune just trying to keep the same ****ty machines up and running.

Another example... We replaced out band saw last year with a Dayton unit from Graingers. Like $1800. When it crapped out this year... they ordered the same exact unit. Facepalm x100.

Its SO difficult to work for people who are CLEARLY less intelligent than I am. Its frustrating as hell.

LOLz of the day: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20101228/...rench_fry_fray

"SANDUSKY, Ohio – Police say a dispute over the freshness of french fries got heated at a McDonald's in northern Ohio.

Authorities say a customer refused fries waiting Sunday night in their serving pouches at the restaurant near Sandusky. The manager insisted the fries were fresh.

Police say they were called when the customer said he wouldn't leave until he got different fries. He told officers a McDonald's employee struck him with a mop.

The Sandusky Register reports that a witness said the worker acted only as though he was going to hit the man and said the customer called the employee a derogatory name.

No charges were filed. Police say the man got his money back and left without fries."
