I had like 15 beers and I felt like I was going to die. I had to drink for myself and my teammates in pong on top of that.

ding ding ding ;) No seriously I am working but at least from home but really my problem is that there is so much going on. My task list is 100 miles long. I love seeing family and friends but sometimes it's just too much and I want to just sit on my ass and work on the business or process autocross movies, or do something I WANT to do.

That and I am going to throw my ****ing macbook pro through the window. Damn apple knows how to **** up a good thing. Everything was fine and dandy and then I upgrade to 10.6.5 and my wireless goes to ****. I try to run with it for a while hoping apple will release a fix but no. So today I restore to 10.6.4, which was backed up in november sometime and now I have to try to restore my apps and user folder from most recent backup over the 10.6.4 restore and HOPE it works. And until then, I can't get any actual work done and I've been sitting here hours.

Troll you dodged a bullet. Even the legit apple hardware doesn't work! Then again I am typing this on a hackintosh ;)

Oh man that sucks... I actually did get a 13" Macbook and use it for 99% of what I do on a computer. Its treated me well overall after I bumped it up to 4 gigs of ram. The plastic case is now getting hairline cracks by the hinges for a 2nd time now which is BS... I'll have to drop it off again to have the case replaced.
Are you using Time Machine for backups? When you restore off of that it doesn't do everything for you? Eek, I back up often, but hope I never have to use it.

I have been spending my time on my windows desktop though (the one that we discussed for the Hackintosh a while ago but I ended up not doing), thats where all the file organization is going on. All the files from all my computers got dumped onto here and now I'm trying to sort out the mess.

Bry, do you have the newer one? Mine's the older one and the casing is always cracking ! I've gotten it replaced a few times too . The newer one looks a bit sturdier.

Unfortunately I have a newer one... its one year old now and is the 'unibody' version. It just has hairline cracks on the lid that start at the hinges and go outward from there. I am really careful with the laptop so I am confident it is a defect and Apple obviously doesn't disagree.
It makes me just want to get a 13" Macbook Pro instead, but I can't justify it at this point... the next one I buy would probably be a Pro though (from MicroCenter... $200 rebates on them all the time )

my macbook case cracked and got it replaced from them. i wanted to get a black case put on because the white is so hard to keep clean.
