One issue is not the age, it's people just coming to a meet to use it as a hang out. Non-enthusiast who use it as an avenue to do something (lets check out that meet and see whos there, before you know it there are a bunch of people there just to see who there, or start trouble. Then you get the ricers revving up, burning out, or driving recklessly to, from or during a meet. The more people, the more attention it gets. That attention then attracts the unwanted and the trouble starts. If meets were just meets among enthusiast who could behave we would never have issues.
