There are different versions of HP Tuners. GM, Ford, and Mopar are each separete. It is a shame you can't cross tune since they are all OBD2. Its the same hardware with just different software. Especiall for $650.

Larry..... i thought you were just going to go with a canned tune..... hahaha!
anywho, you know you could of just asked me this question. there are 2 options for HPTuners in our area...... #1 is RPM, Race Proven Motorsports in Claymont, DE. they have HPTuners and are very familiar with GM vehicles. not sure if they've done any G6's but i do know that their tuner is very very good #2 is Back Yard Turbo (BYT*SS*TURBO on css.net), he lives up in PA, a couple hour drive iirc but he's an experienced tuner with GM tuner cars.

Race Proven Motorsports would not work on a G6. They only deal in LSx engines. However their tuner Roshan, might do it on the side. Best you can do is go down and ask.

that's false...... i know a few non-LSx vehicles that have been tuned at RPM. i'm sure RPM would take a look at it to see what they can do with it.

Personal friends of Fran have gotten some work done there, and they just started branching out into mopar tuning. As a general rule, they only deal in LSx work. I'm sure if he took it there with money, they could work something out with Roshan, like I said.

Matt @ Tune Time in Toms River, NJ is a pretty cool guy, i used to setup the Cobalt dyno days up there. it's been almost 2 years since i've been up there. in all honesty, the 3 hour drive just isn't worth it.

the RPM guys are really cool tho, i've been to their shop a couple times, might go get my new toy dyno'd up there before the winter really hits.
