I use the intake pipe to scavenge. It works pretty well actually. The catch can actually has two internal coalescing filters that separate all fluids suspended in aerosol. The intake pipe and compressor stay clean.

the air recirculation from the catch can i high up on the can! The oil will fall to the bottom and the air will be recirculated in the top.
