Anywhere from $15 to $200+. All depends on what you're looking for. One of the main things you must get is a GOOD gun belt tho. It will make the world of difference no matter which holster you decide one. Also you must make sure the holster and gun belt coincide with one another. Meaning if the holster has belt loops for a 1 1/2" belt make sure you're using that size belt.

It's the same as anything else. You can get a cheap one that technically works just fine or you can get a high quality one that makes a world of difference in functionality and comfort for a mid-range price, or you can go all out and get some high end fancy thing that serves the same purpose except it does it 'prettier'.

Personally I haven't found anything decent for under $50. I've tried numerous holsters but they pretty much all suck and suck worse the cheaper you get. I currently use a DeSantis leather IWB holster that was $60. It's all leather and is comparable in design to a lot of other brands that can cost up to $150 or so. It's nice, but the more I carry with it I keep finding things I don't like about it. However, my 'carrying experience' is far more enjoyable using my current holster than all the others I've tried. The gun is held more securely in place inside the holster (retention) and the holster stays in place better inside my waistband.

The Crossbreed Supertuck starts at $70 and the Comp-Tac MTAC starts at $80. Those two are both kydex/leather hybrid holsters that are nearly identical in design and are considered by a lot of people to be two of the best IWB holsters on the market. Supposedly the gun disappears and is very comfortable and barely noticeable while carrying it. Also, the kydex holds its shape while the gun is out of the holster and you're able to re-holster much easier and with only one hand. That's one gripe I have with my current DeSantis.. it takes two hands to reholster because the leather smooshes together a bit while the gun is out. After buying a few things I've been meaning to get I'll put in an order for an MTAC for myself.

Basically, don't be tempted to cheap out. A lot of people (like me) go with a cheap holster at first and go through a handful of them until they finally get the picture and end up going with something decent. Read lots of reviews and if possible, try many different designs on. Having the right holster seriously changes the way you carry and the more comfortable it is, the more you'll carry it, and that's a huge plus.

What do you have? Holster companies all make their models for just about every gun out there.

I almost always carry concealed.. the same goes for everyone (I think) in this thread.

Its a Ruger P95 (w/rail - but it doesnt make much differnce to gun size), I checked many major brands but either they don't have what i think will work or they dont have one.

I open carry for the most part with my Glock unless I'm going out and want to be a little more discreet. My Kimber UCII I conceal but that's only because I don't have any OWB holsters for it yet.

X2 on carrying concealed, no need to get into this debate but its my preference (as well as 97% of americas preference)

I have a LOT of holsters, desantis cozy partner for my 1911 desantis nemisis for my pocket piece, desantic apache for another pocket piece, a milt sparks for my 1911 OWB during winter, and a chip for the only revolver i MIGHT carry (my custom 3 1/2" S&W 65 pre lock. never carried it but the gun is absolutely gorgeous and i really should)

Yeah I'm working tomorrow. I should be in bed now. lol. I'd love to go but it's the same as all weekdays.. I wouldn't get there until about 6:30. If you happen to be going a little later then yeah I'm in but you'll probably be done by then.

from PAFOA, thought you guys would appreciate her!

]after having a ton of work done I finally got the gun back, big thanks to john robinson... the only smith i will ever use.

The gun is a S&W 65 K Frame, She started life as a police issued 4" stainless gun. The barrel was cut down to 3.25" and given a beautiful crowning, the butt was rounded the chambers champfered and the entire gun was teflon coated a nice matte black. The action was done and the trigger was lightened to roughly 7.5 pounds. The coolest part is the dovetailed in 1911 trijicon front site.

Let me know what you guys think!

Didn't know if that meant for now, or you always had been.

Has anyone gotten their License to Carry in Bucks County? Apparently you get it in 20 minutes, but I wanted to know if they are the old cheap paper cards or laminated or what. I paid 25 in Chester County got my license in 7 days total, and it was hard plastic card, thicker actually than my credit card haha.

i got mine in montco in under 48 hours, the longest part was the drive to pick up the police check card and find time off work to go to the courthouse.
