spacers?

im sure most of you have seen my car.

im contemplating on keeping the rims or buying spacers. The rims have hardly any offset so they are so sunken in

picture for referance.

my question is how big of a spacer can i run ? when do i need extended lugs? best company or place to buy?

I used a set of ichiba spacers on my 240 for a few months no complaints made the wheels look great, they were bolt on so i didnt have to worry about getting extended studs or anything. Personally i wouldnt go more then 25mm since it puts alot of stress on the stock suds but ive seen people use 50mm ones on their sportmax lol so i guess its up to you. http://www.ichibausa.com/imprezars.html

Meh, stance isn't everything. I love your car as it is. However, I have no useful info to contribute. Anybody else?

Yeah, what he said. I'm running 5mm spacers so my wheels clear the brakes, and I'm working on getting extended studs because I'm not comfortable with 7 threads of engagement.

I'm thinking about getting spacers for my stockers. I love my stock rims and actually wouldn't want new ones if I could get them to sit the way I want. I'm thinking 10mm and I was told I will need extended lugs. They are about $150ish right?

awe **** i didnt even think of that. They are the way to go though if you want to do bolt on spacers. I did ext. studs and a custom slip on spacer for mine and getting the studs out was a real PIA.

Wheel lugs arnt that hard....If you can do a full brake job you can do extended lugs.

While your in there you mind aswell make a day of it and paint all your bits calipers, rotor, rusty hubs ect...
