been messing with wordpress and joomla all day to see which one i prefer... and i hate them both... back to the grind tonight with coding this stuff myself

i thought you were a drupal fan?
personally i like wordpress, takes some getting used to but i've found it to be the easiest for users to use.

drupal pisses me off. working in it makes me feel like i'm hacking **** together. It was so difficult to just get a working gallery system set up with the free plugins. Joomla is trash... wordpress is alright. I've got a wordpress/buddypress set up and i think i'll stick with that for the homebrew club. I was a little disappointed with the theme default not being able to really be set for the multisite set up. I intend on having member blogs available... but i'm using the default buddypress theme and it's not passing through to the user made blog, it's using the default wordpress theme. I suppose once i figure out that issue there is no problem... except that i want to limit the ability to make a blog to those of a specific role. blah.... i've got two more hours here, so i suppose it shant be too tough to figure out

no problem. i went there last year for the Pitt/Cincy college football game, i know a bunch of people there and they took us to those places, had a blast!

the Primanti Bros. sandwiches are wierd at first but they are very delicious.

the Hofbrauhaus is an awesome experience, great food, big beers, hot women and fun atmosphere.

check out the users section on the dashboard, you can set roles for the users there. in addition there are plugins that gives you more control over the users, you just have to browse thru them.

I've been really happy using wordpress as a CMS for my companies website. it make updates a breeze.
