We decided that we are redoing the kitchen... it is going to be like a 50s diner. Blank and white floor with red accents. I'm even going to build a corner bench style seat and table. Figure some old movie/music posters on the walls too.

I like that style too, but we don't have the layout for anything like that. Our living room is dark woods though.

Man, of course all this house talk makes me wish I could get one at the time. I have money to put down but I don't make enough at the time to really support all the bills with it.

Ken, I'm with you for the most part, except I'm one of the assholes who speeds. I will drive fast in the left lane past traffic but no way I maintain 80-90 through there. My biggest peeve is people who just won't get the **** out of the left lane. I'm talking about the pacers who pace the middle and right lane so there's no way to get around them. I am the walking talking driving reminder that you are not the fastest person on the road so get the **** out of the left lane!

That said, when someone is passing I won't tailgate, even if they are doing it ridiculously slowly because I understand how cruise control works. (though it wouldn't kill them to step on the peddle for half a second either) When someone signals after passing someone I won't pass them on the right, etc. I'm not a dick.. I just drive fast. Conversely though you have the dicks that drift from the middle lane to the left lane at 67mph with no signal forcing me to slam on my brakes. Nonchalantly they make the pass for the next 45 minutes. I wait for them to get over. The distance grows and grows and they won't get over. FInally I give up, drop 4th and go to the middle lane when they decide FINALLY they are getting over. DIE!

I haven't really noticed a race problem. In fact I'd argue that a good majority of black male drivers are better drivers than the average suburbanite minivan drivers. Minivan drivers especially are a ****ing crazy bunch. They drive like I do in my m3 in something that in all likelihood has tires rated to 90mph... that's just to START. I have a lot of problems with out of state drivers but then again I had a lot of problems with PA drivers coming back home from NC so I think the problem is people get lazy and stupid after driving a while, and they're afraid to drive fast in an unfamiliar area... fine, get out of my way. I'm not skeered.

A couple days ago it was nearly dark when I was leaving work. I was getting onto the turnpike from the rt 1 interchange from street rd in bensalem. I was following a corolla and was being tailgated by a ford ranger. The ranger had no lights on to speak of and it was pretty dark and the corolla comes to a complete ****ing dead stop despite it being completely clear and that being a yield. I was about to spazz. I was truly surrounded by morons. I knew she'd do it too because she was hanging way to the right so there was no way she was going to see **** in her mirror. People can't preplan their next step for ****. It's no wonder we have these chain reaction accidents. Nobody can think more than half a step ahead. I drive along just envisioning all the accidents and how they will play out and that's how I (so far) have been able to avoid them. I've avoided several would be deaths on the motorcycle because of that... that and a full willingness to use the areas between the cars and the shoulders when necessary.

I'm kind of afraid to put my vanity plate on my car. I know some douche is going to call the cops on me for blasting past him repeatedly on my commute. Wouldn't remember me otherwise but now remembers cause of the vanity plate. Because we all know that to the rest of the world speed is the only thing that causes accidents and ****ing retardation has NOTHING to do with anything.

Also when you have a completely empty highway, and you blast out the on ramp as a result and peg the rev limiter in 6th for fun, suddenly 90mph just seems so slow. Hypothetically in mexico that is.

As I tell marina, I drive with purpose, and for me it's serious business.

Construction workers make FAR too much money for doing something that honestly isn't that difficult.

I agree. People can't think like they used to. I blame it on the iPhone. Everything is 1 click away. No thinking from A-B. It really does effect life though.

The vanity plate wouldn't stop me. People can call the cops all they want. Until the cop sees you do it I don't think they can do anything.

And I'm jelous you can redline 6th. I'd have to hit 200 to do that in my car and that just isn't happening.

It is because they are Union. Nothing good comes out of them. Its just greed. If I walked out on my job and said I wanted more money, I'd most likely be replaced(well not really because I do 3.5 peoples work right now). But 99.9% of jobs are easily replacable.

I would rock the **** out of that antler chandelier! Sadly the wood and stuff is not the direction our house has gone. We're finished painting now adn doing other things and it looks a lot like the typical cookie cutters, white trim, white doors, neutral carpets and wall colors, neutral siding, etc. Lots of earthy tones. Our main interest is making sure it resells for as much as possible because this place is not our final destination. Minimum 5 acres is where we want to be.

Except the one I am looking at is about 5 feet longer and has a tag axle and will be a chevy 454 instead of a diesel. I know it's something only old retired people buy but I have various reasons for wanting one and I have been insanely focused on making it happen for over a year now.

I'm a liar. I was talking about the m3 and misspoke, it's only a 5 speed. I've never hit top speed in the 540. Gave up around 160 but it had more to give. The suspension just isn't setup for much faster than that though. The m3 will happily bounce off the rev limiter in 5th though around 157mph. That car needs a 6th gear bad. I was talking about the m3 and misspoke.. All on a closed track hypothetically in mexico of course.
