Will it fit an 02 2.5Ts?

My roommate just picked one up last night, but it needs an exhaust. We'll probably go with a stromung eventually, but if that fits and the price is right, it wouldnt be a bad option to get him by for the time being.

I need to do a lot of suby reading... whats involved with doing a rear wheel bearing on these puppies?

youll have to ask susie, she keeps em in her purse.

wheel bearings on a suby blow. also im pretty sure that to mate an turbo exhaust on an na suby you need to extend the pipe 3''. also if hes looking for the rumble it wont be there. it needs an aftermarket header that is true unequal length. its going to sound like a neon.

Sweet, thanks for the help. We have a line on an ej22t, so buying a header would be kinda pointless, but im sure my buddy wont mind the exhaust note either way. Its got a very noticeable leak right now, so anything would be an improvement. I'll probably just weld it up for the time being.

I just looked into the wheel bearing job.. blah. That part is gonna suck. Thank god we only need to do one.

I had to replace my rear drivers side wheel bearing this summer. $500 at one of those tire joints.

My wheel bearing on the GTO was $470 from the dealer. I got lucky and found an aftermarket one for $100. 25k miles on it and its perfect.

I assume you had them do the whole job? I plan to do the bearing myself, the only part I might need help with is pressing the bearing out of the hub, which a machine shop should be able to do for under $30.

Rear bearings on my old scion were on their way out when I traded it in. I guess 10mm spacers and -5 degree camber will do that to a car lol.

My car is a tank. 65k miles and not a single thing has failed or warn out except for my radius rod bushings and rear springs are starting to sag.

Ok, so that should make things easier, no? I read that you need to have the new bearings pressed in... I used to use a trick when assembling dirtbike motors where I'd heat the case up and put the main bearing in the freezer. With the application of heat and cold, the bearing would usually drop right in. Think this method would be plausible?

I need to stop asking questions and just go do it. lol

I haven't had crazy things go bad either. Just some sensors really and that's about it. Otherwise just normal maintenance. Actually the diode in the alternator took a crap on me which set the camshaft sensor off, so alternator needed to be replaced.

the bearing is the only real thing i had to replace other than wear and tear items. Oh wait, I lied i had to replace my transmission and the tensioner pulley. you know the typical parts that fail on a suby.
