I have found it pretty bad myself. Definitely so much worse ever since school has been in fool kick and everyone isn't taking vacations to the beach anymore.

Not used to this whole work thing.... On the bright side, I reassembled the M3 last night and am making inroads to eliminating the head unit as well as replacing the head unit and dsp amp in the 540.. The 540 has a 12 channel setup, but 4 are sub channels which are already replaced which leaves 6 channels which I can make up with passive crossovers. We'll see if it works ;) I'm going to get some nice eclipse crossovers on ebay. It was nice driving the gokart again this morning

I had sweet tea for lunch. Can't wait to be done. I have 40 emails somehow and a crap load of work from Friday. It isn't hard stuff, but it is time consuming. I'll be luck to be caught up by Friday at this pace.

I love not living at home anymore. I don't know about you, but I didn't have the best relationship with my family. I felt that I needed to get out because I couldn't deal with the drama, guilt, fighting, etc. anymore. I have a better relationship with my them (mother, mostly) now then I did when I lived at home.

My parents would watch me sleep in the car before they let me move back home.

Living with them sucked. They are the most boring people I have ever met, they are cheap even though they are LOADED(and I mean loaded, my dad invested in his cousin back in the day... and he started CISCO), and we have completely different interests. Everything I like is dumb and a waste of money... yet they live a nice house, have everything they could ever want, and are miserable people.

theres definitely a lot behind the relationship with my parents that im worried about. my mom gets sad every time i mention moving out. my sister isnt around much because my dad doesnt talk to her anymore. im supposedly the good daughter that sticks through everything. theres just a lot of hypocritical rules i have to follow that im getting tired of at this point in my life. I feel like I would be a lot less stressed about having zero space for everything that I own too. the places i found have tons of storage and an extra bedroom. they're in the same county as my school too so I'd pay less for tuition and I'd be paying less for gas to and from work/school/dans.

just a lot to think about. I'd hate to miss out on something that's right in front of me. maybe I'll take a weekend to go look at the places I saw. that'll either make me realize it's not right or its time to make a decision.

Samesies. My relationship with my dad has never been very good, but I moved into my own place when I was 20 (now 22) and we're getting along better than ever. We're halfway through pulling the motor on his volvo and rebuilding it, which has been a fun father-son bonding thing. He doesnt know jack about cars, and this is my first rebuild, so its been interesting for both of us. When I lived at home, we were CONSTANTLY fighting, over the stupidest little crap. One little comment could turn into a full blown fight.

Now that I'm out on my own, its nice, but MAN I wish I still had that spending money that I had when I didnt have real living expenses. I also moved out with not much money to my name, and its been a struggle to keep my head above water at some points. I mean, the positives definitely outweigh the negatives, but its definitely something id put a LOT of thought into first. Free rent, free utilities, and free food arent something you wanna take for granted.

I remember when I was in high school, literally 90 percent of my income was dumped into my car. Man that'd be nice to do again..

All you guys looking to buy houses... I've owned townhouses and now I own a single with some property. I dunno, part of me is thinking about going back to a townhouse with a HOA and the grounds kept after for me. It feels like all of my spare time is spent maintaining the grounds on the weekends and it's starting to irk me. With the pool and the hot tub as well, there is hours of work to do each weekend. Just keep those things in mind... Winter is a welcome respite when grass doesn't grow, the pool doesn't need vacuumed and the hot tub... well the hot tub doesn't need much work to keep it happy as long as you don't pee in it.

I agree Mark. Home ownership is cool but there is a ton more work the most people realize. Maintance and just keeping the property maintained is many hours a week.

And as far as not living at home, I got my license less than a month after I turned 16 and I moved out immediately after high school. I'm just the independent type I guess. Except I've never actually lived alone. I've always had a roomate or 6, gf, etc. I would highly recommend a roomate/bf/gf/etc you can stand.

The bang for the buck though is huge. You can even get townhouses with big 2 car garages which as long as you can deal with not having any property are nearly perfect. I did get sick of hearing my neighbors all the time. Now I can be as noisy as I want at any time of day.

exactly, for corrine and I if we watch something its usually late and I dont want to be worried if my **** is too loud for someone else. We try to keep busy with other things during the day since we find TV a huge waste of time(which it is). That said, when we find a place Im buying a big ass tv lol.

Idle hands dont work well for us.. lol.

I could do without yard work however. :P

that's why i also made sure that small puppies were allowed too! because my mom's always said, "once I move out, I can buy a puppy or once I buy a puppy, I can move out."

I just dont want to become one of those crazy dog people that talks to their dogs and dresses them up in crazy outfits that they hate. lol. I just want someone/ something there to keep me company... and bark if there's a noise at the door.
