Don't waste your money with a different intake. It is fine.

Tune is worth every penny though.

I do a mix of local and highway driving. At some point I might put a ford 3:73 rear end in it. As of right now it's got stock exhaust, but I would like to add a X pipe and magnaflow axlebacks to it. Money is going to be tight for a lil while for this car as I am also saving for a wedding.

What I would do is save your money, look into getting the tuner and gear combo at American Muscle, considering you are going to need to recalibrate it anyways after the gears. Really they are your best bang for the buck. If you are over 50k miles too I would get the bearing rebuild kit, while you have the rear open.

I think you would be most happy with exhaust. I really think the 3.73's that deal posted sounds good, FULL exhaust, Wheels and then the tune will make this car a new pony.

Well I am currently on hold with the car, had a air bag light come on, and I am having issues with the throttle lagging then coming on and surging issues for the idle.

good luck with the car

go with the exhaust i have a 3.5 inch keenan cowl which is a nice hood, then go either ford racing or jlt for the intake and sct tuner but make sure you buy it from americanmuscle.com because they will enroll you in free tunes for life which is definately worth it, as for wheels i would say 17x8.5 fr500s for the front and 17x10 fr500s for the rear wrapped in nittos, nice buy i have an 06 too but its a 6cyl

and heres my car with the keenan cowl

I have been told by some that it can be the accelerator pedal, and the tune for the throttle issue. So we'll see what happens but regardless I want the air bag fixed. I still would like to get a set of the racestar wheels I posted but only time will tell. My set goal would be to see the car in the 11's N/A.

If you want to go 11s N/A good luck with that. Not easy. I'm friends with someone who bracket races an '07, has 3.73 gears and BFG Drag radials. He's only going high 13s in good weather. I don't remember if he's going off idle or what, but again, not going to be easy at all.

It's possible to go 11's just expensive.. And a 3.73 gear is not going to do it.. A 4.56 with a tire matched for the gears, some head work, cams, longtubes, suspension, alot of weight loss, wheels, tires, one hell of an agressive tune,Stall, driveshaft, etc etc. Alot of money will get you whatever you want.

I don't personally have a gt but I'm just saying I've seen mid 13s from an unexperienced driver, to hit a high 13 the driver must have not launched and missed second haha those gts are quick and with no seat time you should be able to see 13.5 no problem..

Well the Mustang ended up going back to the dealer as it was a lemon. I will prolly catch a lot of crap for my new vehicle choice but more practical, less money, lower mileage, and more features.
