Props on the work and time invested, i like seeing odd ball cars built up.
Recommendations are to spray the mesh grills black in the front or gunmetal, & cleaning the engine bay

Very nice, there was a nasty sounding one of these that used to run around where I grew up.

I feel bad for you that you live in a neighborhood where you have to boot your own car.

^ Correct. Signal lights were on and my point and shoot took it to another level. Headlights will have Retro fitted projectors in the future and I dont care much about cleaning up the hazed headlights atm. Also have new headlights ready to do the retro when I feel like it.

Also the car is NOT an Escort or Taurus. Although I get that a lot

Turbo is Garrett T3/T4 60 Trim .63 AR

Car was never dynoed as I never really tuned it. I got a basic tune uploaded so it runs safely. Power will be between 350-400 FWHP with no traction = Bad Move. I am hoping to work with some suspension geometry experts to build some sort of traction bar to put the power to the ground. Unfortunately, Contours have never seen 12 sec on the strip. Im hoping with the power and time I put into the suspension/traction. I will be able to do that. Although, it is not something I care for much. This car is now just becoming a good looking and fun Highway car. My first car that I spent my life savings on! Still my love but now I know that its not worth trying to get more out of it cause its not going to perform.

I dont trust leaving my car ANYWHERE without a boot, alarm, brake lock, energy forcefield, etc.. That is in front of a friends house.

Car is currently stripped (no drive/powertrain, doors, hood/Trunk, etc) and will be painted either Flat/Matte White or a custom white, Looks Glossy and Flat at the same time. Dont know when I am going to do this tho

Thanks for the comments

Engine is a V6. Headers > Y-Pipe which becomes the up-pipe into the turbine housing of the turbo > out of the exhaust side of the turbo down pipe routed with a re-circulated wastegate into the exhaust.

This can techinically can be done with an Inline engine but I dont think any performance gains would be there. Usually there is a turbo manifold, Like my MR2.

Nice! I came really close to buying a SVT countour before I got the Saab. The place selling it advertized it as having a new clutch, and when I went to test drive, they said oh we havent gotten around to doing the clutch yet . Oh well haha.

Nice,

Too bad the traction sucks! I may go 3L if the 2.5 ever gives up.

^ your car is kick ass! with a 3L you should be ok with traction. Anymore power adders and you are a waste under 3rd gear. Once I get the car painted and back up I will see if I can work with some sort of suspension engineer for a traction bar or something....

Car is at the Shop now! Doing some custom things here and there. Getting the body work completed so I can spray this sucka! Takin my time as I have no place to put it once it comes out of the shop as well as I would prefer it be done after the winter. Pictures will be put up as I get a decent amount of progress to post.
